What styles have been discontinued? What is the next one?

I was a little reserved because I LOVE the shoulder strap on the city and have pretty much committed myself to that style...but there's plenty of time for more cities!

Yep, I felt the same way (I love the slouchy look of the City when you use the strap). But, then I got the Purse style in the Truffe and 'ed the style so much I got the Grenat in it!

When I was in Barneys a few weeks ago, they told me the rouge vif was coming in shortly in the city (they did have the first already). I'm not always too confident in what the SAs there say...I don't even know if they are sure themselves! Hopefully though, the purse won't be discontinued because it is a really nice style.

CeeJay- Congrats on your black purse!!! I was there a few hours ago! I spoke with George and he took my name and number down so when the rouge VIF came in in the city,work or courier he would call me. He said they were getting them in but it sounds like whoever you spoke to was more educated in what they were getting in! Sounds like I'll have to plan a trip to NYC to BalNY soon!

I hope it's not true. I LOVE the Purse. It really is the most feminine shape of all the bags IMO. I have one in pale rose and it really is my "girly" bag.

ohh,that's horrible.I love the purse style b-bag.
It's too bad that they've decided to discontinue it.And having no blues for the fall season is probably a huge mistake.

Yeah ... you might want to have George look over the BNY Buyer's List (which I looked at); that's how I know what they are getting/not getting. It clearly stated that the Rouge Vif First was the only bag that they ordered. All I kept on seeing was "Black, Black and more Black" (and for me ... that equates = Boring, Boring, Boring ... AGAIN MY OPINION - I know a lot of you like Black ... it's just not my thing!).
