What styles have been discontinued? What is the next one?

Well it seems to be the case now that everyone wants to get their hands on a box, especially after hearing the news that it will be discontinued after this season. I don't recall there being that big of a buzz over it before until recently. I saw a magenta box on ebay that has been relisted a few times. it's a rarer color but it hasn't been snagged. I don't know if the increased excitement is contained in this forum or if it is felt widespread (in the b-bag community). You could start it at retail at least...
honestly, my dear, i wouldn't buy any b-bags to sell

I just bought a cornflower box but I want to use it so I'm not selling. However, one just sold on ebay for $860 and there is another one there priced at just over 1K with no bids and she's run the auction a few times. Maybe, in a few months when there aren't any boxes any where to be find they might be worth a little more than retail but I don't think it's going to happen right away. I love the box but it's not one of the highly sought after style's IMO which is why it's going bye bye.
There has also been a black box with a starting bid of $949 listed for awhile, and a cornflower one with a SB of $1,024.99 as well. Prices and sales have seem to be at a low lately. You might have better luck buying one and putting it away for awhile, and then try to sell it later on.

yeah i did have the cornflower box...! and i sold it to peppy...!!
but i found one here in vancouver, and was wondering whether there'd actually be ppl wanting to buy that. But yeah u're right, it'd be pretty risky :s and the BNWT bags i usually see online are really not making much of a profit, especially after all those ebay and paypal fees..... 
am getting the blueberry day from aloharag soon..!
but yeah the slightly used cornflower box on ebay selling for way over 1k i think is a really unrealistic price....

I agree... especially since they're so gorgeous.. but to each their own.
I agree. On new bags I would say expect a loss and if you're lucky break even. But if you are not going to use it, have too many and want to buy older colors, it's worth taking the loss. I can't justify bags that cost over 1000. sitting in my closet when I am almost certain I will rarely use them. I did that with LV and it's ridiculous. I am trying to buy and keep what I love and what I will USE!

Only because of you and Jem! I'm actually not a huge fan of the city :s I know that's weird, but anyway. So I'm trying to find other styles I like. I know I like the day, but the bottomlessness of it sometimes isn't the greatest, so I was wondering about the mini-bowler because it fits on shoulder and is more "structured". I was debating on black, but would have preferred marine. I'm not sure....
