Paper Mate Ink Joy Gel Pen. Love all the pretty colors, and writes so smoothly. And it's the perfect size for me to comfortably grip. Also, I've never had one break or bleed ink, which is vital for any pen that goes in my bags.
I have a rule about this. No pens in my bag, ever.
A black and gold Montblanc to whip out to sign documents or momentarily loan to a trusted person (while I keep my eyes on it) , and a couple of pens that I don't care get stolen or lost. It's amazing how often it's handy to have a pen and then be "that person" who has a pen for others to use. Also, in this time of Covid 19, it's good to have your own pen at the bank and other places. Years ago I stupidly allowed somebody to use my sterling Tiffany pen to sign some papers and pass it along. That pen evaporated. Stupid, stupid me! Now, general people get the crappy pens. But it's nice to whip out the Montblanc when proper occasions arise.

I can respect that! I take precautions with making sure there are several layers between my pens and bags. During my many, many years of owning bags, I’ve never had a leak or stray pen mark. Maybe because I never really use them, just... when you need a pen, you NEED a pen
That is true, I once had to write a check in eyeliner to a parking garage, I'm lucky the man accepted it!I can respect that! Montegrappa Felicità fountain pen for book signing events (mine, not other people's), Montblanc mini ball point for daily notes and/or a Spanish gold fountain pen, and assorted gel pens to loan (no one touches my fancy pens, LOL).

I have plain old Bic gel pens in my Samorgas.I also keep one in my LV makeup pouch. I never have a pen just laying in my bags. That’s just a recipe for disaster, haha. I do have a beautiful Mont Blanc pen that my husband bought me 30 years ago. I’m always so afraid of misplacing it that I rarely carry it. It sits in my jewelry box.
