What kind of pen is in your handbag?

I have a leather checkbook holder (I know, who writes checks anymore but I sometimes want to note a debit card transation in the register). This leather holder has a loop to hold a pen. I carry a retractable tip pen that will fit thru the loop - usually a giveaway with some company's name on it.

This has gotten me to thinking - I should probably stop carry my checks in my purse since I never write one while I'm out anymore.

Montblanc fountain pen and a stainless steel Parker pen, in a Montblanc pen case. Also carry a cheapie one (always with a cap) and it's in a zippered compartment of my handbag organiser. Less likely to cause damage if it ever leaks and the cheapie is to lend out if necessary.
For the past 15 years, no ink spillage whatsoever.
So far, so good, knock on wood:amuse:

I have no pen in there. I am too paranoid about ink leaking into my bag. Lol. But I do have a love and fondness of fountain pens / Parker and of course a good old fashioned proper quill. Yes I do have one of those! (With a wax seal too) [emoji13]

Now that's an interesting thought. I have to use wax seal as part of my job (many confidential documents and evidence) but never thought of using it in my personal life. Thanks for the idea!!

PS Trying to quote pandorabox and Christofle
