Definitely my Reissue 227 in black calfskin with gold hardware. I was having a hard time deciding between this and the Jumbo Classic, but I stumbled across a 227 on Yoogi's Closet that was listed as like new condition and took a chance. I kind of talked myself into trying the Reissue because I wasn't paying full price (or taxes) and this would be a good way to test the waters. To my surprise when the bag was delivered it was actually like a brand new bag! It's the perfect size for me and I can use it for a daytime take my world along with me bag and also use it for dress-up events. You never have to worry about babying it and it always looks gorgeous! And I LOVE that it has the perfect Chanel combination - black with gold hardware. Gorgeous!!

LV canvas bags (my go to when it's raining) or Bal Town. My caviar tote (don't recall style name-- it's an east-west three pocket with classic gold and black chain) is handy for regular purse items plus papers or a book.

This one.

I have used it almost constantly since I got it at the end of last year. It's been rained on, sat on the floor (gasp!) of various airplanes, has been stuffed to bursting point with my daily carp and it still looks as pristine as it did on day one.

I think we may be bag twins -- is this color called Dark Blue? If so, I have it in a 227. So glad you posted this -- I've been trying to use mine more and get over the fear of it getting bumped and dinged. It's great to see how well yours has held up -- it looks new!

We are nearly-twins. So hard to take a photo that reflects its true colour. It's Plum - a purple that veers from deep inky blue-purple to soft lilac and everything in between
Oh, do use and love your bag! It's harder to ding the leather than you would think. I was in the boutique earlier in the week and the Chanel SAs were cooing over my bag, telling me this is a luxury item that's built to last and gets better with use. One thing I've found, mine is beginning to develop that deep lustrous glow that comes from being used.

Oh, my bag definitely needs some of that deep lustrous glow! Funny, I love patina on bags but it never occurred to me that would happen with this particular leather. Your bag is beautiful -- I've seen Plum reissues being offered by resellers, and I'm always tempted but have to use my blue one more first!
