May I ask, about the filigree bags mentioned by previous posters, do you have the flap or vanity case? I really like the vanity case, but I wonder is it hard to use as an everyday bag? Thank you very much!

Hello I have the vanity case. I would classify it as a "carefree" bag but would not personally think of it as an "everyday" bag. it is totally adorable and goes well with many many outfits, it's also quite sturdy.

However, "everyday" bag to me should additionally be very easy to get in and out of and just use everywhere and I think of other Chanel bags in the appropriate size (per person's preference) would more readily fit description as an "everyday" bag (aka the one that you just keep reaching for to run out the door all the time).

hope this helps! :smile1:

My most care free Chanel bag is a medium flap bag from Cruise 2016 collection. It's made of a rubber material and comes with a 'raincoat'. It's easy to maintain and ready for the wet London weather.

For Chanel, it's my expandable timeless tote. It's so light and comfy to carry and well broken in

For other designers: my LV Speedy 30 because it's used and abused, my Coach Station bag from the 80's and my Gucci Sukey tote. Don't worry about a thing with those!

My black caviar classic woc. I use it for travel inside my work bag and on its own. It's been shoved in and compact with other things in my bag while traveling. It's amazing :)

Trying to answer this question, I realized that I honestly don't have a single bag that isn't carefree! I admire lots of gorgeous, delicate bags, but when it comes to pulling the trigger, I only go for the bags that I can see myself wearing all the time.

I only have one Chanel, and it is the SUPER indestructible and carefree Medallion Tote in black caviar. I'd like one more - a black Reissue - which I'm sure I'd be careful with, but use without too much worry.
