What is your most care-free Chanel?

I use Longchamp totes when I do not want to bring anything designer. They are fully appropriate for occasions when you do not want to discuss 'how much you paid for bags', grocery shopping and rain. I plan to get a woc soon. I plan to bring it in my Longchamp tote, if I wanted to use something designer, but there was some heavy rain, or a combo between errands/ people who talk about prices and an occasion where you'd need/ want a smaller Chanel bag.

Love this post... Sums up exactly how I feel and what I do!

As much as I love and cherish my Chanels, my most carefree bag would be my balenciaga city bag! No fuss, love the distressed/destroyed leather! I can toss it around and not worry about putting it on the floor. LV canvas and epi-leather used to be my go-to's for carefree bags as well.

+1

have lots of Chanels, but my Bal bags... soooo easy to use and care for.

I am happy I'm not alone [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4]

Nope, you're not alone at all! My most worry-free Chanel is a calfskin reissue camera bag -- that thing has worn like iron! -- but when I want to be TRULY worry-free, Longchamp is it! With the Le Pliage tote, I don't worry about rain, or wear, or weight, or being too conspicuous with a designer bag. Longchamp is about as worry-free as you can get! :D

My most carefree bag right now is my Proenza Schouler PS1 Tiny in dark red. I grab that whenever i want to be more casual, less obviously designer, when I might need to throw it anywhere, etc.

My most carefree Chanel is probably my black goatskin eyelet WOC. It's got a more weathered look naturally so I can wear it wherever.

May I ask, about the filigree bags mentioned by previous posters, do you have the flap or vanity case? I really like the vanity case, but I wonder is it hard to use as an everyday bag? Thank you very much!
