I completely understand! I was just traveling for work and was looking at the jumbo and the re-issue and I could not believe how much more the reissue was, I do love the jumbo though! I would love to find a black/ruthenium hardware in the large size! I always seem to find ones, but the condition isn't great and I have not had great success with pre-loved purchases!Pre-loved. i just bought a preloved 227 reissue in Metallic Navy. Because it's preloved, costs less than half of a new boutique piece, (but in great condition), i feel i don't have to.baby it...no psychological cost factor 
. Moreover, with the distressed leather, the bag will only accumulate character n edginess with use...Here's mine...she's in great condition

you never know ...the bag may just land on you if it's meant to be! Bought a preloved reissue. .the gd thing abt reissues is...with the distressed / aged leather...you cant tell if its preloved or boutique . If u happen to find one in great condition, without sag yet...go for it! The right one will find you. I waited around eighteen months for my first pre-loved Reissue. The next popped up almost immediately after, the final one (grey anniversary) came along about a year later. I see them pop up at good ('good' being a relative term where Chanel is concerned
) prices in consignment stores sometimes - and there are a couple of reputable eBay stores, like Boutique Patina. Remember to do a reveal when the magic happens!This isClevercat, that's exactly how i feel!

You ladies are making me rethink whether or not to get a reissue. I hadn't thought about how the aged leather is a good "defense" to the bag looking worn. And it's nice to see how carefree these bags are.Keep looking
