What is the most that you'd spend on a handbag?

I would say 450-500ish. It depends on the bag, but comparing to my HG, I constantly find it difficult to really consider another bag beyond 500, and it must be on sale or pre-owned. Preferably not pre-owned of course.

I'm like so many other PFs...My limit keeps going up...up...up! I remember the first time I spent like maybe 500.00 on a LV...that was probably in the Mid-80s. My best friend thought I had flipped out at the time. And the funny thing about that was...I had always been extravagant on "Stuff"... But this was like $2000.00 now.

I'm not going to say "never" ... I've done that! But I don't think I would buy a Hermes Birkin at least when you get up to the 10 grand mark. I just think its "nuts" unless you're a Star...

All that to say this...I just spent $9000.00 for a Crocodile Romona but it was on sell down from $11,000. What a deal...HA! That was only because I had returned some others and didn't have to pay tax...Anyway, that is the very most I've spent so anything less than that will probably seem like a good deal now...:roflmfao::roflmfao::roflmfao:

Hmmmmm...when I first started collecting I thought 250.00 was too much. Now? I am afraid to see what I would be willing to spend.
ITA.
I'm sure it's only a matter of time before I'm plunking down my vacation money on a Zagliani, Nancy Gonzalez or Carlos Falchi.
Pretty insane when I've been saving for the new refrigerator we need, but keep checking my bank balance while staring at $2000 bags.

Unfortunately ladies, when you get into Hermes, those price points start creeping up. Once you buy a Birkin or a Kelly, $2,000 for a bag no longer sounds expensive, and guess what -- it is!

At first I thought 1000 euros was outrageous, but I'd spend just that. But now I know most designer bags are around the 1300-1400 euros mark. The most I've ever spent on a bag was 1400 euros on the Fendi Spy, which is a lot for me since I'm a student. But I'm considering a BV campana or Hermes Lindy now, and the worst part is that even my mother thinks that's quite acceptable! I guess my whole family joined in when I got into handbags.

lol, i know the feeling. when you have friends and family who are total enablers, it makes it more justifyable! my mom would say "you spent $xxxx again on handbag?!" but then follow that with a, "oh my god, it's so cute! is the lining leather or nylon?" and i'm all like :wtf: afterwards.

As of right now, the most I've spent is $550, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't shell out more money if I could afford it and had to have it! I'm only 20 so I've got pleeenttyyyy of time.
