What is the most that you'd spend on a handbag?

3K-ish. I can't justify anything much over that. My weakness is LV leather, which lands me in that bracket. However, I can see a special exception -- a Chanel medium flap at some point in the future. ;)

I find that what I can afford is irrelevant; I just feel a big "no" inside when I think about going much above my self-imposed limit! I've never exceeded it.

The downside is that bags that formerly seemed pricey to me (2k and under) don't seem so expensive anymore. A $900 wallet doesn't seem as nuts as it once did. That's not necessarily a good place to be! Crazy.

I will say that bags and shoes are my spendy areas. A little indulgence is fine, but my whole life isn't consumed by designer goods!

I don't have a limit per se on handbag splurges but my most biggest purchase to date is around $2000. I am thinking of getting a Celine Luggage before w/c is about $3000+ but I just can't justify spending that much money (well at least yet). Whenever I am planning on getting a new handbag I always make sure that I can pay it cash or if credit card I'll should pay my bill right away. And also I imagine myself with the bag, will it match my other outfit & mileage.

At this point in my life, I don't think I would spend more than $500 on a bag unless I was buying my holy grail bag (a Celine, so $3000 ish, which I'm totally willing to do to be honest haha). I'm a student and fairly young, so I really don't need a high end bag. I have a Kate Spade and a Coach right now, and those are both perfect for my lifestyle.

I don't have an all-inclusive limit, but the most expensive purchase I would allow myself is for my UHG everyday black bag (Hermès Lindy 26). For a seasonal bag or a special occasion bag that I won't get as much use out of, I will spend a lot less. It's all about cost-per-wear for me! :D
