I think it's the current sheer overload of logos that gets to me, mixing 11 different brand logos in one outfit, or an outfit that states BALENCIAGA in big bold letters on every single item down to the shoe string earrings, bracelets and sunglasses. It hurts my eyes and worse, my fashion sensitibbities :whut:

I've never ever liked big is better logo design so I'm just about as a happy being reunited with it as the looped resuscitations of le bumbag. But I also acknowledge that I'm a total less is more curmudgeon as well as an avantgarde hoity-toity :amuse: So in the spirit of that, I'll just take this current logo frenzy as an opportunity to feel smugly fashion superior in my glorious black/black 2011 unbranded Bal moto jacket and bags knowing that this logo craze too, shall pass

I hope you’re right and it passes soon - it’s braggy and I can’t bear it. At least I’ll be saving money :hrmm:

I don't think there has been a specific "it" bag for a while, although I remember something about Megan Markle carrying a bag earlier in the year and the maker sold out of their stock overnight.

Red bags seem to "pushed" right now by big retailers mid-luxury companies(Kate Spade, Michael Kors), like white was in the spring, but people around me (Seattle) tend to ignore such things. The mini-bag is trend is dying out here with a gradual return of big, slouchy bags. As always, Longchamp nylon totes are beating everything else around here.

Speaking of Longchamp, because their nylon bags are everywhere, I think people tend to forget or do not know that they make beautiful leather bags. If you look at the website, the leather bags are at a good price point and not overdone so that you could wear them for many seasons. The Paris Premier and the Mademoiselle seem to be the most popular with the celebrities and others.

This may sound weird but to me, the Chanel reissue appears to be a popular bag at the moment. I'm new to Chanel and prior to last year never even knew about the reissue till I watched a YouTuber Eva in the city. Since then, it seems a lot of the popular YouTubers are revealing reissues. Just my observations [emoji3]

Yes! Longchamp makes great, functional, beautiful leather bags. The quality is fantastic too. The Roseau line is also a classic, understated, quality line.

I just ordered this bag!

Sorry, I never mastered the art of downloading! What attracted me most to this bag is its light weight, 1.1 lb. empty! That's awesome! I really wanted it in the cognac color but, if I like it enough, I might get the pocketed style in that color as well.

I bet you’re gonna love it!

I’m so fed up with this logomania that I’m specifically looking for unrecognisable non-logo items.
Once a trend becomes a mass market trend it gets too obvious and boring, so it’s too late to get onboard
Agreed! I am notorious for buying unrecognizable bags! I thought buying premier designer bags stay in style forever but there is no such bag except for the Hermes Birkin and Kelly. I just sold my it bag from five years ago, Gucci Marrakech and wanted a light weight bag that has style and a good reputation and when I saw Longchamp was smart enough to design light weight leather bags I figured I'd come on board!

I agree. I think it’s the culmination of outrage over IG posters getting free product and flogging it, and being over-agressively marketed to. I say the new IT is something unbranded and under the radar that you discover and rock on your own.
