what is the biggest discount you can get on a rolex watch?

TPF may earn a commission from merchant affiliate
links, including eBay, Amazon, and others

usually you can get 10% discount and if you have a long term relationship, then you can get 15% discount.
there are certain retailers that have specials like 20% rolex if you pay in cash.
Je Caldwell's is a great store and will work with you. (just ask)
we purchase rolexs each year... love them!

My husband and I were in JE Caldwell recently and my husband noticed that the SA's Rolex had an after-market diamond bezel. She wouldn't confirm this, in case we were reps from Rolex, but I thought it was funny that even she didn't think it was worth it to get the diamond bezel at the retail price (even with employee discounts).

I live in Washington, D.C. area and would like to know what dealer will freely agree to a 15-20% discount for paying in cash on a men's all steel datejust with steel jublilee band ?

I recently purchased one from a non-authorized dealer and the plastic credit type warranty card has several concerns such as the middle section, "Nom et address de l'acheteur" has been left blank.......and the bottom "Date de l'achat" says Feb. 2009 (and not a specific date).

I was told to never show an AD my invoice with the name of the dealer if I take it to an AD.

I do not want to participate in conduct of this nature and plan to purchase from an AD. any suggestions and your opinion on my warranty card above.

Please e-mail responses at: [email protected]

Thanks,

reddog

There is a Rolex Forum similar to TPF where they talk about Rolex and also have sellers...supposed to be very reputible. I prefer to purchase from a BNM AD but if you're inclined that way, this is an option. You could also post your question there.

xxxx our rules ask that you not link to other forums

It's a very active forum just like TPF

I've also heard hong kong for Cartier and rolex. Especially if you are the first customer they will try extre hard to sell to you. When my dad bought his Cartier from the actual boutique he was able to knock off quite a bit for being there at opening. Just make sure it's an authorized dealer. There are plenty of dealers on Nathan though so make sure it is reputable.
