Thicker wedding band! Which is 2.5 mm

Or a thinner wedding band which is 2mm that matches the engagement ring..

I like the fact that 2mm goes with the whole set... But when worn alone,
I like the look of 2.5 mm since it doesnt look so thin..

What are your ladies thoughts?

First, your ring is absolutely beautiful! And you got it from Tacori because you obviously thought it was beautiful too and knew you would get great quality. Your friend is clearly jealous, which is so sad that her insecurities are taking joy away from something that is so special to you. If she makes another comment, I would just nicely tell her that you love it and that you don't need to discuss this anymore. Ugh, so sorry for you! Enjoy this stunner!

As for the bands, if you plan to wear them together the majority of the time, maybe the thinner one is a better choice. If you think you'll wear the band alone frequently, then go with the bigger.

Your ring is gorgeous. Many congratulations. I would choose the 2mm wedding band if planning to wear your set together. But, I am a little OCD about the bands being the same width. I have a 2mm engagement ring and a 3mm wedding ring and it drives me nuts..... Both your choices look stunning. What a fun decision you have to make xxx

Sounds like jealousy to me to be honest. That is a very pretty ring and the set works so well together. Enjoy your ring and be careful of her in future. Even if she doesn't like it a true friend wouldn't be so hurtful towards you. It's about what you like, not her!

P.S. It doesn't look like a cluster to me and nothing is wrong with cluster rings anyway. I've seen some very pretty ones.

I had a friend like this who was always making rude and condescending comments to me. It finally occurred to me that she was jealous of my life and husband. It was time for me to move on from the friendship. It sounds like your friend is suffering from the very same affliction. Your ring is absolutely gorgeous and your hubby sounds wonderful!!!! Enjoy and wear it in good health!!!

I just know that she is a very blunt person.. I never had her blunt opinion towards me.. And yes i dont think that this is something I would lose her over.. I just had to vent somewhere.. And you ladies made me feel so much better.. Im just hoping that its not out of jealousy.. And she shouldnt be.. She is way more well of then us... If she wanted a ring like mine, im sure she would have bought one :)

It just hurt me a lot to hear that so often but now with you ladies help, im good :)

I love my ring and will love it hehe!


Cant wait to pick it up in a week!
And decide on the wedding band!!!

I prefer the 2mm band with that gorgeous diamond ring!
For future stacking purposes the 2mm is fab too.
You can always buy a much thicker eternity diamond band in the future... :p

I agree. If you were considering this option then that was the time for a well-meaning friend to give her constructive advice. For example if that was her opinion, she may have suggested a slight space between your solitaire and the halo so that it isn't mistaken for a cluster and for the central stone not to be overwhelmed. Since you have decided and your husband has gifted you this beautiful ring, she could have been tactful, a true friend and just not commented further. Repeating her comments do not help and I think you should tell her that. I love your set and I think the thicker band because you can wear it alone and it would be perfect! Congrats!

it's beautiful! definitely not a cluster, it's a halo setting. your friend has no idea what she's talking about lol.

I'm confused. It does not look like a cluster. It looks like a diamond with a halo and it looks really really nice imo!!! If this is an isolated rude comment, try to ignore the friend as a momentary lapse of judgment. If she makes comments like this a lot...purge purge purge. Shed that friend.
