I recently had a horrible situation with my previous wedding set so
My husband went ahead and decided to give me a setting-upgrade..

So i picked this one out from tacori...

And i really loved it until my friend
Told me that it looks like a cluster ring and that she doesnt understand why i got this one...

It makes me sad and now everytime i look at it.. I think of her comment

What do you ladies think...??

I think you need a new "friend".

Thank you ladies for all of your kind commnets!!

It sure does help a lot and the fact that i was taking her words too deeply also seems like an issue!

I should totally just go with my own
Feelings!!! I mean especially..
Its my wedding set right???

Thank you once again for your kind kind comments!!

Now i just have to pic between
Thicker wedding band! Which is 2.5 mm

Or a thinner wedding band which is 2mm that matches the engagement ring..

I like the fact that 2mm goes with the whole set... But when worn alone,
I like the look of 2.5 mm since it doesnt look so thin..

What are your ladies thoughts?

Stunning ring! I like both bands, but I think I like the slightly thicker one more.

Your ring and your hubby are total keepers. Your jealous and rude friend, not so much. ;)

Vote for the 2.5mm band. It is more balanced looking with your ering.

No.. I really think that she truly hates the set and i get it.. People have different tastes and likes.. But everytime she sees the ring.. She says its not worth the money to spend that much money to reset and also that Tacori is not really worth it..
Also that it makes my center diamond look smaller coz it looks like a cluster ring in her view :(

Hearing it over and over again really hurts..:(
Is your "friend" a jeweler? Ugh!
Gorgeous ring and sounds like sour grapes..................
I like the 2.5...can be worn with/without your e-ring and look great!

your friend is jealous! a true friend would never say something so rude about your new ring. ignore your friend and enjoy your ring!

.

your friend doesn't know what she is talking about. it is not a cluster ring. it's beautiful and you should fully enjoy it.

i kinda like the thin band because it looks delicate and like it just goes better with the ering.

I think your friend may have taste that's different than yours. She also may not appreciate the added cost of design (Tacori in this case). The time to express those thoughts to you was before you placed the order. You could have taken her thoughts into consideration and made a decision on your own at that time. However, once the ring is on your finger, the only appropriate comments are "wear it in good health" and "congratulations on your beautiful ring". I think your friend may be a good friend, but her manners need some refinement. This is not something to end a friendship over, but you may need to let her know that if her comments are not supportive, the time to make that clear is before a decision is made, and only hurt your feelings at this late date. You can agree to disagree. That said, your setting is a halo, and not a cluster. Congratulations on your beautiful reset and wear it in the best of health to only the best of places.
