Just wait until I have the money - I tell myself if it is meant to be it will still be available when I have the funds to buy.

Star3777 - your situation with the hermes - if you have the funds to buy it then go for it. It is all relative right - 10K to J-Lo is like $100 to me, and maybe like 1k to you? :amuse: If you can afford to treat yourself then by all means do it - if you will feel guilty for dropping 8k on a bag, then don't do it.

I know how that is! I find myself spacing out at work just dreaming about the bag or I would go online and stare at the picture. I'm going to get fired if I keep this up! LOL.

Well, I am happy I didn't get the kelly although I still hear it calling my name:cry: .... Dior called today for a white Gaucho. I paid for it happily...*sigh* so excited.;)

Can you really not find the bag you want? Worldwide? You would think you could get on a waitlist somewhere. I swear I saw one in Toronto before Christmas.:suspiciou

I tell my mom that its a bag that we both can carry because its big (I'm working on a Speedy or a Motorcycle bag) and she loves big bags, it will be in style for a long time, its so nice, well made, classy, and then I start begging. And then I go "My birthday is almost 11 months away, can I get it then?", or I ask if it can be for Christmas and my birthday (my birthday is December 29th), you guys have to hear me, it gets pretty pathetic. But I would never ask my dad for a bag, ever. He'd flip if he knew how much my Coach bags are!

i know the whole more than one holiday present deal. from the chanel store i called my mom and asked if she could pay $850 of the reissue 2.55 and i promised that i wouldn't ask for any bags the ENTIRE year (as in this is a present for valentine's day, easter, my birthday, and xmas) and she just got pissed off at me! do you know how much she would be saving if she took the offer...oh well now i'll ask for tons of bags this year

I try not to give in to impulse bag purchases ... but I have not been too successful so .. the $$ spent on a diablo, a burberry I have worn once, a purple tod's, a marc jacobs I haven't carried in years, a red luella baby giselle ... a suede Miu Miu - I wish I could cancel these purchases and save up for true classics ... I would have loved a 2..5 reissue and a bottega veneta which I am loving more and more ....but I am learning ...

so i yell at myself and promise myself no more bag purchases ... and I swear it to my husband ... and I cry and make all sort of promises and say it is the last bag I will ever buy and he gives in and then a month later something like the B Bag comes along ...and I am NOT going to give in !!! I need to be strong ...

And I just bought a Chanel Hobo with the promise of no anniversary present and no valentine's day present ... I am HOPELESS

Bag Withdrawal - is there a pill ??? Or a bagaholics anonymous?
