Researcher at biotech. Pre-COVID-19, I always wore designer bags to work. Most folks rely on backpacks, though. Before perm WFH, I used to go into an office with a hoteling schedule and had to lug my laptop and other accoutrements back and forth (invested in some good Burberry, Coach men’s, and smooth leather MK totes for that purpose). Would also include SLGs and smaller purses in DE or monogram (in case of lunch or dinner with colleagues). I have seen LV, Chanel, Balenciaga, etc so there are a few luxury consumers in my workplace. I know people watch my overall presentation but I can only consider it a compliment.

I live in LA as well and I'm a casting manager for unscripted TV. Luckily, I work in an office setting vs being on set so I get to wear my bags! And all my coworkers there are stylish so I love seeing what they all wear. Even on set, it's amazing to see everyone's style! Since then I've been WFH in Nashville so I haven't been wearing any of my bags the last year or so. Hopefully soon though!!

I have an office within a custom carpentry factory. There are tons of wood particles, dust and spray paint works going on here. I carry mostly lv and Chanel, but delicate pieces/precious or really expensive ones in my collection I avoid bringing - just in case.

I am a Healthcare Administrator in the MidAtlantic area and I carry a Vuitton tote (Neverfull or Sac Shopping) daily with various smaller designer bags and pouches inside the tote. Once in a while I may switch to a Gucci or MCM tote bag. However I don’t carry any of my Chanel, Dior or higher end bags to work.

Oof this is tough for me. I don't tend to wear my LV bags as it is usually obvious in logo. I tend to wear more contemporary bags such as Polene. I am a licensed professional. My license and credentials have afforded me discretionary income I can use on luxury goods, HOWEVER, I work in local government in public health. I personally feel it inappropriate to wear luxury at work.

I’m an accountant. Before covid, I rotated between Coach and LV for the office. My co-workers didn’t really notice my bags or assumed they were fake. The other ladies carried the occasional Coach. Now that I’m working from home, I go into the office about once per week and I’m always carrying my LV or YSL. I want to use and enjoy my bags everyday even if I’m only going to the grocery store.

I'm an art professor. It get's very very messy when I work. I also have to change locations throughout the day, and I'm paranoid I'll forget personal items, so I don't bring a purse inside with me. I also don't really leave the house much, so I never really get to show off my bags.

I work in the education sector. I do take my bags to work, but lock them in the cabinet throughout my work day due to small theft problem. Also, I am not comfortable making my bags visible in front of the population I work with, want to be sensitive.

There was a colleague who recognized my Stuart Weitzman knee high boots and made a comment - it’s fine though, people may recognize some brands, but I didn’t feel being judged. I live in a big city, carrying designer stuff is common.
