Part time does and work does for me as well and I am not small framed.
Part time is the most comfortable... and then work.. then city..

Thanks! I am looking for a bag that I can also travel with, but not huge. I have 2 cities on hold a Black RH and a Plomb SGH at a boutique close by. She said they have about 50 bags in stock, Yikes! I def need to have a plan.... I will walk in and just be overwhelmed with all the YUMMY leather!

I think a work might be good for you for traveling because they are really not that big and it will definitely fit over your shoulder..
Make sure you try that...

Balenciaga has the weekender for travel but that is a little bit big if you don't have a huge bag..

But between the City and the Work, I would pick the work if you want to travel with it.. (actually i will pick the work no matter what, but I understand that the city is a better everyday bag.. hehe.. )

Good Luck and let us know what you end up getting!!

I have alot of small and medium sized bags, couple kinda big ones. I keep seeing the work on people and seems like a good size, hopefully they have a couple of Works to look at. I will check it out, thanks!!!

how much do you plan to stuff into the bbag? i've posted up a pic of the Work when stuffed with 2 changes of clothing and a pair of soft flats. a Weekendeer might be better.. as its name suggests. but it's really quite huge. the handles of the newer (07 onwards) Works can fit over the shoulder quite comfortably but i can't say the same if it's very stuffed.

the hobo probably has the longest handle drop for a shoulder bag (not including messengers and couriers) and it's almost bigger than the City. but you can see it's not meant as a luggage bag but more an everyday bag.

i think the Giant hardware bags have longer handles...i also heard balenciaga make the handles longer for work...i read that somewhere in the forum..just not sure which thread

I've been wanting a work for some time. The city is just too small for my everyday needs and I'm tired of the Day. Well I read on the board that the weekender handles were longer so I went to NM and tried on the new 08 works and THEY ARE at least 2 inches longer. I was able to fit the work over my shoulder with a puffy down coat on. Now If I can only find an 08 black with nice chewy leather.

Hope this may help anyone who was in the same boat as me.

Toni - last I checked, only GH bags had longer handles. I was looking into getting an 07 Work in the beginning of the year and was initially excited about the longer handles, but was told that only the GH ones were going to have them. If anyone knows more about this, I'd love to know as well!
