What B Bag fits over the shoulder???

Do the handles on the Weekender fit over your shoulder? I was kind of surprised to learn that it did not come with a shoulder strap. Considering this is a rather large bag, generally meant for overnight or to take on a plane, I would have thought Balenciaga would have designed it utilitarily...

Thanks in advance!

heh, maybe this should go out as an announcement or sticky:

i happened to bookmark a thread relating to handles. this thread talks more about work's but there're some posts by toni22 about the newer bags incl WE having longer handles. i have a swatch of a 06 WE and the handles do look like they can't fit over the shoulders.

I've been going cross-eyed going through all the pages since the search option isn't working so hopefully this hasn't been posted...

How do you gals get your city's handles stretched out to wear the bag comfortably on the shoulder? Maybe I'm too big for this to be possible? I'm petite, 5'4" but just can't seem to get these handles to stay on my shoulders. Advice? Thanks!

i've always been able to fit the city handles on my shoulder, i can fit the first too... however, the front strap usually falls off.

are you in winter wear? if you're wearing a big poofy winter coat then it'd probably be really hard to get the straps to stay put.

Put some heavy books or cans in the bag and hang overnight. I think one has to be quite thin to have the bag work on the shoulder. This is only possible for me once in a while lol.

I am around 5"3 but have muscular arms. I broke in my city by hanging her from a doorknob and putting books etc inside to stretch. Don't forget to alternate between hanging from handles & from the strap to ensure they both stretch proportionately at the same time. I have no qualms about doing this as I love my bbags to be very broken in and slouchy! Right now I can get my city on my shoulders but it's still v close to the armpit area if you know what I mean.

Thanks for the suggestion. I placed some textbooks in and it seems as though the handles have given a little. One handle falls off though. I'll keep trying!

when i first got my weekender i couldn't get it over my shoulders and then i carried it around for a day with a couple of books in it and now i can easily fit it, i think they just strech and usually quite quickly as i had the same problem with my first

I was just wondering if any of the BBags, that are not hobos have a longer handle drop then others? I only own Firsts and they just make over my shoulder, but not comfortably. I am pretty little framed... Thanks I appreciate any info!!
