^^^ I have an 09 pt and the handles aren't any longer than the city. I have a hard time getting it over my shoulder even with regular clothes, it will go but it isn't comfortable. I'm 5'5 and 130. Maybe the 09's are shorter handles, don't know.

There's some discussion about some 09 PTs having shorter handles than the earlier PTs.
I've been lucky - my 09 Pourpre RH PT has great handles, definitely longer than the City's and the PT fits very comfortably on my shoulder, even with a coat. (And I'm someone with big arms who can't get a new City, Twiggy or Work comfortably on the shoulder.)

Kare2711, the Sunday's shoulder straps are pretty short. I can fit my RH city over my shoulder comfortable, but I tried on the Sunday, and it feels a little tight

GH PT handles are definitely long enough! The GH bags have slightly longer handles than their RH counterparts - go figure.
Velo handle drop - TMitch says in her thread that it's a little longer than an RH City but close to it. My SA in Bal Cannes says the Velo fits comfortably on the shoulder (but SAs might just be saying that!).

I went to the local Bal boutique but no luck in seeing the velo in person. they snapped it up like silly!
wanted to compare it to the handle drop of my work, though if it's more like a city, my wallet thanks the gods!

Rere I just measured my 06 Work compared to my 05 Grey Work and they were the same (7" drop). My 07 Black Work and 07 Ocean Work both 7" as well, but Ocean for some reason feels roomier on the shoulder. However, my 08 Black Cherry Work measures 8" and stays on the shoulder very nicely. Don't know if that really helped much, lol.
^^^I think she's just saying that, or she just has small arms because I don't have small arms and my RH Velo fits only when I'm not wearing a winter jacket and then it's not like a "comfortable" fit, as it's so close that i worry I will perspire onto the bag LOL
The city is perfect!!! It fits over the shoulder easily. I love the Velo model, too. You can wear this one crossover.
I can carry my CITY , PT and VELO over my shoulder but I find it more practical using the strap. Some times one of the handles falls over and it is very annoying especially when carrying other things as well.
