What are the "IN" jeans now.

I have purchased almost every kind of designer jeans and I still think High street is better (Zara, Mango, H&M). They may not last as long but the fit is unrivalled.
I bought a pair of cheap jeans today....I usually buy either premium or at least Levis but I was in a buying mood and these Rewash stretch skinnies fit like a glove...will see if I'll wear them. Modelled for DH and he said something to the effect that they fit well but didn't look like real jeans.
They will be very comfortable though with the stretch and the high waist.

I feel like I’ve tried on every style of Mother jeans and they just do not fit my body type. They look so good on others! So I just stick with what works - Gap and Gap outlet jeans. I don’t even have to try them on, can purchase any cut straight off the rack.

I have no hips and am tiny-no high street jeans fit at All, but very long legs(ex ballerina)- I’m down to a pair of sz 1 Samurai Geisha which are too big after 2 years Still.

I nearly bought a pair of J Brand photo ready super skinnies but hesitated and they sold, I may buy 3sixteen+ which I’ve had before, which come up small but have a 35” inside leg(I’m 4’11”) all legs lol, I’ve had several pairs before, they come up very small, I take the smallest size…my Mum used to call me a daddy long legs..I can’t go through next winter without jeans, really I need a couple of new good pairs…

Have you tried the Zara TRF jeans? They are made for Jrs. so the sizes run smaller. You could try the smallest size in the TRF collection. I had a co-worker years ago that was tiny as well...00 size and she would tell me she bought from the kids dept. at department stores. Now, I don't know if she literally meant kids dept. or just the Jrs. section. Either way, you have options!!

They’re massive on me..thanks for the offer though..I think I must be a freak..

I am relatively short, short legged, thick calved; wide and long waisted. I dislike stretch bc I muffin top. Courreges pants, especially a non stretch, forest green denim like fabric, are magic on me. The fit is modern: relative,y slim through the thigh with some fullness and flow over the calves. Not super long or drapey though. I have a pair of Dolce denim from mid 1990s; etro denim from mid aughts; everlanes from maybe five years ago (they changed the fit); and some brunello and chanel denim.

but have a 35” inside leg(I’m 4’11”)
Are you sure you've got this measurement right? That would leave just over 1 foot for the rest of you (head, neck, shoulders, torso ribs+ vital organs+ pelvis and all). Perhaps get remeasured? :hrmm:

I second the recommendation of children's jeans. The age 10 (for boys) should fit you perfectly in any brand because boys have narrower hips. You can always have a tailor take in the waist/tighten the legs if you want a skinny fit.

ETA: Life's really challenging when you're petite! You would think this would be catered to more broadly, but evidently not!

*Edit: correcting the calculation.
Children’s jeans are halfway up my leg, yes I’ve got the measurements correct.

My Sammies have 32-33” inside leg…they’re just about ok..but they’re baggy..

I bought age 10-11 jeans but took them back as too short, too loose, rubbish quality.
3sixteen+ or bespoke, which I’ve had before are the only jeans which fit properly.

I also have very narrow shoulders and incredibly long arms lol

Just like a daddy long legs!

Gosh it must be so difficult to shop for basics! Bespoke may be the only way for you to go!

Eta: Please excuse me if my original reply sounded harsh. I wasn't doubting you but thinking you may have been measured wrong by your previous tailor. Mistakes like that happen. I just wanted to clarify in case I wasn't clear.

I’m not good at math but I come up with 24”, not a foot.

Pre kids I shopped in the kids department, I loved it, everything’s cheaper lol
I can still wear some kids shoes luckily.

On topic, Frame and Mother are still my faves, JBrand used to be.
