DIAPER BAG??? WHAT??? Men!! is right!
I've posted my work modeling pics all over the place within the past 24 hours, so I"m sure you've seen them.
As a work newbie, here's my take so far- I was slightly self conscious of the size when I'm out shopping. It seems a bit like overkill. I definitely got some stares- dunno if they were good or bad.But you know what was surprising? I wasn't digging around in it! In fact, I find myself digging around much more in my day. (keeping things organized in cosmetic pouches or the like is very helpful to minimize digging, tho)
The other issue is the handles- just not long enough (yet) to fit comfortably over my shoulder!! Definitely doesn't fit over a winter coat. But I think it looks best over the shoulder- then it doesn't seem quite so huge (to me at least). Ladies w/broken-in works, how do you carry it? Do the handles stretch out much?
Also, because the bag is larger, it's much more likly to bump or get caught- which of course gives me a mini heart attack!! It's just slightly more awkward to use. I was thinking that I will never take it grocery shopping- it's just too awkward to deal with. For clothes shopping, it's ok but the day is still best. For travel, I think it'd be great!
Just some initial thoughts- would love to hear from some devoted work and WE lovers.

I had the same concern when i carried the day since i'm mostly a hand-held bag type girl. I would bump into things sideways and it worried me to no end since the bag is a light color!!
^^ if you're a hand-held girl, then I think a work would do quite well for you. Being a shoulder-bag girl, I'm still figuring out how the work will work for me (ack the redundancy of the word WORK!!) But yeah, the size makes it a bit more awkwrd in terms of it hitting things. anyone else have that problem?
After a few outings quite stuffed, the GH Work handles have stretched and fits over the shoulder nicely - without a coat. It's been a cold winter not wearing my coat

I'm 5'3" only but I LOOOOVE the Work style and use it for everyday-bag

That is so funny!!! ^^^^but a girl has to do, what a girl has to do! No one said fashion isn't painful.
brunette- I must say I've been sorely tempted to forgo my coat so I can wear my work over my shoulder, but we've got record-setting cold right now, so guess I can't do that.
However, several times yesterday,when I went into a store, I'd carry take off my coat and carry it, just so I could fit my work over my shoulder!!
