LOVE this ring! I wanted to purchase it a few years ago when I was on vacation but ended up getting a purse instead, not i regret it slightly because the Dior here closed and it's harder for me to get a hold of one.

I ordered the Metro in WG and the Novo band (1/2 not full eternity) in Platinum to see which one I like better, but I will probably be going with the Metro.

I went by a local store and got sized before ordering and ended up deciding that a 5.5 will probably work better. The 5 fit better in the finger but it was tough getting on and off (read: painful) and since I'm at my lowest weight of my adult life it seems more likely than not that at some point in the life of this ring I'll gain some weight.

They were able to expedite the shipping for me so they will both be here Thursday which gives me plenty of time to decide before the big day next week.

I'm going to vote metro and be in that cheering section. If you were sized as a 5 on your finger and going with a 5.5 for your knuckle, the ring may spin and i'm not sure if the exposed metal would bother you since it'll be worn alone. The metro (i think) is a full so it won't look like it's spinning as much.

a happy update :) let us know what you decide when they come in! my fiance really wanted me to get the novo wedding band too but i fell in love with the shared prong wedding ring. novo and metro are both gorgeous though!

Thanks everyone! Hopefully one of them will work. I'm nervous about getting the 5.5 but it didn't spin much in the store so we will see how the real deal works out.

Ame- those are pretty, but do I need more than one? I don't wear a lot of jewelry so I am not really in the loop.

You don't. I was thinking having a plain band with your metro might 1) be pretty and 2) give you more presence. That metro is skinny, so having a 2nd ring will have more space on your finger showing a ring.

If you got the set of 2 bands that were 1mm you could sandwich the metro between them which would be pretty.

Oh, okay, I understand. That might be something I do down the road, for sure. I was thinking of getting a colored metro band later, as well.

I'll try to post some pics tomorrow! I will be anxiously awaiting the UPS man.

So they aren't coming today. Whoever processed my order when I called apparently forgot to put a "rush" on it despite me telling her I needed it today and her guaranteeing them. I was on the phone 30 minutes last night trying to clear this up and then another 30 this morning. They tell me they will go out today but I am freaking out!:confused1:

I always thought Tiffany had good customer service but I am pretty unhappy with the fact it has taken me more than an hour on the phone and I still have no confirmation of shipping for them to be here a day later than I was promised.
