I take all my jewelry off at night except my necklace. I have a diamond "C" that my mother had made for me years ago that I wear every day. I don't take it off because it doesn't bother me in my sleep. But I can't stand to have anything on my hands or wrists so I take my rings, watch, and bracelets off.

I take mine off of because I've scratched DH before.

I do that too. I used to leave it on at first but now I take it off as soon as I get home. I can't stand cooking and cleaning and getting stuff on my rings and bracelets.

I take my diamond ring off every night before I wash my face. I put it on a ring holder and put it on after my shower in the morning. I don't like soap and stuff making a film on the diamond. But most people i know never take their ring off either. I never take off my wedding band but that is a silver band, no diamond.

I'm not engaged or anything, but for me it depends when I sleep in my jewelry. I always wear studs so they stay in when I sleep, but as for rings and necklaces of the ones I am wearing at the time are comfortable...i'll keep them on! but like many have said before me if the ring is set high or chunky i'll take it off for comfort reasons.

I always sleep with my engagement ring (and wedding ring) on. It was originally a high setting (and I did slept in it then) and after two years of being married, I got my diamond reset, in a lower setting, and I still sleep with it on. The only time I take my rings off are when I'm at the gym, or in the shower- not while I'm in bed.

I sleep with my rings, diamond drop and mezzuzah. I didn't used to but it just got easier this way. the only reason I don't wear earrings to sleep is that I did for many years and it stretched the hole (which I never understood)
BTW - I once read a description for *normal* - it is the cycle on a washing machine. period.

Mine isn't an engagement ring.. it's a 3-stone "promise ring", but I keep it on all day and all night. The only time I take it off is to shower. I even go to the gym with her on! I'll probably do the same when I have the engagement ring too! :p

im another one that always takes the e-ring off to sleep, shower, wash dishes, go to the beach ... but once i get my wedding band ill keep that on (unless im traveling and then its dependant cause the wedding band is a bit blingy and id rather wear a plain band if im going somewhere like where we are going on our honeymoon).

i also cant wear any jewelry when i sleep. my hands swell during the night and i probably woulsnt be able to get my ER off in the morning lol. I am also a very very restless sleeper. lol
