Wearing engagement ring to sleep?

I take mineoff bec ause my finger will start to hurt if I leave it on all the time. My hands andwrists are a mess from years of breaking stuff with hammers that I did for my job.

I do .. After I bent a prong my jeweler told me it was bad to sleep in any pronged jewelry and that gold had a "memory" and might bent right back. That was enough to scare me out of my rings for sleeping

Mine sleeps in its beautiful box on my night stand whle I sleep. I am to worried over how many pave stones I have in my rings and getting caught on the blankets.

Not to mention my fingers swell over night because I for some reason sleep with my hand under my cheek (im a side sleeper). I always wake up with a hand print on my face...

On my honeymoon I nearly took out my new husband's eye with the ring so from that time one he requested no rings to bed!

I take off my e-ring & wb once I get home... lol. I'm somewhat of a klutz when it comes to hitting my arms, hands, etc against things.

Same here. I never wear my ER or WB at home because if I didn't, I would bump them all the time while doing housework. Can't risk losing a stone.

When I wear a significant ring traveling I've become terrified I'll leave it somewhere and lose it if I take it off....so I sleep with it....I used to never travel with jewelry, but I travel too much these days.
At home I have a little tray....
I hate sleeping in jewelry, but I'd be really annoyed to lose a nice piece... despite insurance.

I take my rings off before bed. I read that the prongs snag on bedding.

I take them off. I don't like it when my ring kept snagging on my blankets and I'm told I roll around the bed when I sleep. And my dog often sneaks on to our bed and she loves to chew everything.

And they wear their full makeup to bed, too, on TV.

I don't sleep in any jewelry.
