PM me and tell me what happened? It looks like you wore them without treating them and they got dirty. Don't spray them while they're like that or it will set it.
PM me and I'll help. It looks like wet dirt. We can fix that.

Oh! That sounds much easier lol I thought I would have to brush each scale after I spray them lol I am going to do it for sure then!! Thank you so much Natalie for this info. Now I will be able to wear my exotic CLs with peace of mind.

Hi Nat, thanks for sharing your knowledge. I am amazed at how your original PP AD still looks brand new. Thanks for posting the link for the Meltonian spray. I already ordered 2 cans so I can use it on my HP batiks, WS ADs & Bianca, and Mago.

My question is when you spray the shoes, do you cover the inside part of the shoe so the spray does not get in there OR do you spray the inside also?

I have the same question! I was thinking of putting a towel in the shoe and where the sole is...if that makes any sense. I wanted to roll a towel and put it in between the sole and the heel.

i do take paper towels and stuff it in the shoe so that the insole is not sprayed on when i am spraying the outers of the shoe

the only product i own so far is Apple Garde Rain & Stain repellent, and Apple Garde conditioner, i've used that on my shoes for 2 years now and been very happy with it so far, they have not discolored my shoes. i've used apple garde on satin, suede, nappa leather, and exotics (python, lizard, ostrich)...

the ONLY shoes i have NOT TREATED are: strass, glitter, patent, eel, python nabuck and watersnake nabuck, and pony hair....

i HAVE treated cosmo python and ostrich and they have been perfectly fine!
