I discovered a beautiful Sac Plat on Ebay. According to the code, it dates from 1987.
What is your experience like when the canvas is so old? Is there anything to consider when buying a vintage piece?

Just scored this 1996 Speedy Mini HL as a gift to someone (paid like 430usd, but I feel like its a good price). I don‘t know if they will like it but even as a guy I thought it was pretty cool. And the condition is great too.
Here’s my speedy mini HL. Love it so much. It fits so much for a small bag. Looks can be deceiving Here’s what I have inside at the moment, can still fit another lipstick and my iPhone 8.

Love my new bag.... well to me. She is gorgeous. Just kinda/doesn’t really need it but I want to see about get the interior replaced. Only the edges looked rubbed like lint balls.
Vintage rules, lovin’ all these awesome vintage pieces. Question, does anyone know if vintage key pouches have date codes? I’m looking to buy one but seller says there’s no date because it’s from the 80’s. What year did they start the codes? It looks no different than today’s which kinda makes me wonder if it’s really vintage...
I am loving my LV petite bucket bag pm that I bought from eBay for only $152USD! Took out the sticky lining, added a bag organiser to give it more shape and it’s ready to go.

Does anyone know any reliable online authentication services for vintage LV items? Would really appreciate some suggestions as I have just purchased a vintage LV Trousse Toilette 28 from an Japanese seller on eBay. The item is dated 834 but noticed the zipper pull is the LV logo zipper pull and not the eclair zipper pull that I would have expected for an item from 1983. Every other feature seems consistent with LV quality and I carefully inspected the zipper pull and Looks authentic (no air bubble on surface, sturdy and clear LV logo). I would welcome your suggestions all
