Just purchased my first Louis Vuitton. Made in 1991 (1 year younger than me)... She's absolutely gorgeous but the vachetta is a little bit dry... Currently researching the best conditioner to use. Would love some suggestions. Thanks in advance!

I’m also a 90’s baby and I now own two pieces that were made in the 90’s. It’s so fun to own pieces from your decade! Beautiful bag!!

Long time lurker, first time posting.
I’m a 23yr old guy, who’s been obsessed with Louis Vuitton since i was about 9 maybe? We had a neighbor lady who favored my sister and I, and she gave me an old Keepall 50. The rest is history!

I have a few different pieces, but one takes the cake for my favorite, and it’s almost silly, really!

My favorite routine piece I use is just my old tattered monogram wallet. Mine is older and originally from Saks Fifth and made around the early 90’s. I bought it in already poor condition from a consignment store. I didn’t care. It was and still remains my treasure.

But this wallet and I have been through everything together since I was 15. It’s given me 8 years of carefree, teenage, -ignorance is bliss- usage. Everything from the freezing MN winters to the bottom of my washing machine.

I have other nicer items... but to me they don’t compare
I loved that I never had to baby this piece. It was the perfect “everyday” starter piece. Its simple, small and does the job. When the day comes that I fully retire this bad boy, I’ll look into getting a brand new one and starting the journey again. Until then.. it’ll serve me right.

Thanks for letting me ramble! I’m just glad to be here

Aww that’s such a sweet story. The vintage pieces hold up so well. Nothing like a broken in wallet! Let’s hope it has 10 more years!

I’ve shared my repaired bag on a few forums but thought she should share space here as well...my 1998 bucket bag Gm with new interior lining and pochette. She received a new date code to go with her facelift! OK0199View attachment 4393593

Looks amazing! It has been so long since I’ve seen a bucket bag in good condition! I guess I got used to seeing all the old ones,
I paid them no mind. But WOW, I must say I love how it stands up on its own like brand new again!

Definitely reminds me of the importance of stuffing my bags for storage as soon as I’m not using them.

TY! She was a bit bendy but I stuffed her with a pillow and she now she is good to go. This bag is amazing. I wanted something that didn't stick out like the neverfull. It can hold my things standing up and doens't hit walls or doorways! It wasn't on my radar but then I saw @Shereese90805 pictures of her repaired bag I was smitten. I finally purchased one from one of my go to Japanese resellers. Most of the bags need interior repair since the lining melts but there are videos on how to clean them. I really didn't want to mess with it so it was worth the $150 to have the lining replaced. I like that I don't have to worry about the vachetta. I might have the rest of the vachetta replaced down the line. The bag is really well made and actually can hold quite a bit. There are two really good youtube videos made this year that share repair stories on this bag if you are considering one.

I’m in love with this. What do you plan on using it for? Im looking for an excuse to find one!! It’s so adorable!
I totally understand... I bought it without knowing much about it and it is tiny, and adorable and I couldn’t resist it. I had no real idea on what I was going to use it for but knew I would find something to fit in it. I’ve ended up putting my ‘emergency’ medications in it with a few bandaids etc. I’ve seen a few around since I bought mine, so they are still out there if you can’t resist.
