No Coach markings - no proof made by Coach. The one with the snap doesn't have the brand of snap Coach used although I don't recall seeing any very early Coach bags with a snap. That's not a type of lining I've seen in any Coach bag.

Does anyone have the legacy penny (19914, unlined) and would know whether the bag would survive a bath?

I was doing some research on the forum and while there seems to be a general consensus that the leather used in the 2012-2013 legacy line is not as good as the vintage quality, I’m curious to see if anyone familiar with the vintage bags also has first hand experience with trying to clean/restore this more recent bag. Thanks!!

A little update on my current ebay dispute for anyone interested in how this turns out: yesterday the seller refunded me $82 of the $140+ total that I paid for that crappy bag and the seller asked ebay to step in and help. I don't see an option for me to respond to eBay within the established communications of the dispute to say that I don't want a partial refund, I want all my money back and the seller can keep her crappy bag. I just get a message saying I have to wait 48 hours to learn their decision. I officially requested a return, I hope eBay honors their money back guarantee and doesn't side with the seller, thus making me pay $50+ for a worthless bag. I'll post an update.

I have 10 bags from the 2012 legacy line and I think I dunked only a black Rory. But it was a quick dunk with Dawn only. It dried fine. I’m not sure how the colored ones would do.
