A little update on my current ebay dispute for anyone interested in how this turns out: yesterday the seller refunded me $82 of the $140+ total that I paid for that crappy bag and the seller asked ebay to step in and help. I don't see an option for me to respond to eBay within the established communications of the dispute to say that I don't want a partial refund, I want all my money back and the seller can keep her crappy bag. I just get a message saying I have to wait 48 hours to learn their decision. I officially requested a return, I hope eBay honors their money back guarantee and doesn't side with the seller, thus making me pay $50+ for a worthless bag. I'll post an update.
Did she give the refund through paypal, not ebay? It sounds like she is trying to do an end-run. The ebay return process allows her to offer you a partial, but she only gets one shot at it and you have the opportunity to either accept or refuse the partial. By giving the refund through paypal, she bypasses ebay. Unfortunately you don't know what she told ebay when she escalated the dispute. In the past, the person who escalated the dispute first usually had an edge in getting the outcome in her favor. If you didn't get a decision right away, that probably means that a person is examining it rather than being done by computer. As long as you haven't sent any messages to her implying that you would be happy with a partial, you should still win. If you don't, get on the phone to ebay and ask them to look at it again. As a last resort, you have the option of opening a credit card dispute.

you can schedule a call with ebay, they send you a code you have to input. It was already said by another poster, but you can always open a credit card dispute. Technically you are supposed to do it via PayPal not you cc company, but the time I got scammed through Poshmark I went straight to Visa and all was well.

Paypal might still come through. I accidentally bought a fake off Mercari and, not knowing any better, accepted it which releases payment to the seller. Posted pics of my bag and was immediately (and rudely btw) told it was fake :( Tried for days to contact Mercari and got stuck in a loop so I went to Paypal explained what happened and that Mercari’s communication links weren’t working and they forced a return. I had very specific instructions for the return but I got my money back.

She refunded through PayPal. I have not accepted the money. My messages were clear that I wanted a full refund, I never said I would accept a partial refund. I don't know what to do now. I can't respond to the dispute or send any more messages to the seller.

We were rude to you on the AT thread?

I wouldn't worry yet. You might be able to call ebay and give them input into what is going on in the case, but I don't know if that will help. Or you can just wait until they make their decision. There's still a good chance it will be in your favor.

Anyone know this answer? I'm in a vintage shop and I found a vintage daypack in what I think is camel but it might be mustard yellow, its hard to tell. Did camel come with gold hardware? Or only silver? This one has gold and I'm intrigued .

Depends on the year and style. If it was made after 1997, camel came with nickel hardware. So it could be mustard yellow. Are you talking about style 9960 or 9791?

I believe 9960 it looks like Valv's but less yellow. Cannot tell if it is faded or a natural/camel color. The interior and the Hangtag are more yellow in color. It's from 1996
