Playing catch up here
I know the feeling!

Admittedly the Coach collection is taking over.
is that a problem??

I found the purse organizer from Amazon useful, each one hold 8 purses and keep them protected. I have 2 organizer for 16 most frequently used bags. (Small to medium, large ones won't fit into the organizer holders, (so they hang on coat tree or door knobs like yours. ). Most of the rest bags were stuffed with tissue or plastic air pockets inside, dust bags outside, then lay flat inside a cardboard box, with holes punched on boxes for air flow, I live in dry climate so moisture is not an issue. Then boxes are stacked on top of closet shelf.
Every now and then I will rotate from boxes to purse organizers. At beginning I was concerned the purses may be get squashed inside the purse holder, but they were just gentlely supported from bottom and both sides, and stay in shape inside the holders
I like this and this would help me! Thanks for posting.

I also adored the mahogany color mine came in. It skews a bit burgundy and went well with everything I wore during its carry. My Manor bag will be staying for future use.

Now I have to go pick February’s bag.
I have a mahogany Ranch that skews burgandy, which I like. I have a Plaza and although it is a different handle than the Manor, when I fill it, I use the shoulder strap.

Today is the first day the sun has come out in several weeks so I couldn't resist a sunny photo shoot with my Precious.View attachment 4655624
Lovely! I have an eye out for a rust bag! I do have a small shoulder bag in rust, Creed, no serial number . My oldest Coach bag. I would like to get it friend.

Thanks and agree on the strap. This bag begs to be cross body
I totally understand. It’s interesting in the early little paper catalog, it shows the Crescent on a woman’s shoulder, from behind, calling it body hugging. I do have a Saddle and a Berk Flap, and find they are quite comfortable, on my shoulder, just slightly toward the back, against me. Even with the little extra length. And back slip pockets are the bomb. The bomb.
Its probably to put pressure on people to buy, like...oh look it's also in another person's cart...you gonna let that happen...better buy it now! Lol.
That completely annoys the cr@p out of me. That and an online seller , who with any NYC bag listing puts out, “NYC bags are disappearing at an alarming rate”. I want to say, one, we are not talking about a cure for cancer, so calm down. Two, yes, while desirable and rare bags are hard to find, I am amassing a quirky and rehab-able bunch of NYC bags at an alarming rate

Not that I need more bags... but have you guys ever found any brands, lesser or well known, that are similar to the vintage coach leather? I stumbled on JW Hulme and went all heart eyes on their Phoebe satchel but haven’t seen or felt it in person. The leather seems like it might be similar? Was curious if any of you ever went on this type of quest and found any...
Vintage Roots leather is amazing, It was said they use the same Italian tanner supply leather for Hermes ( not verified by me). It used to be crafted in Canada but production was moved to China in recent years. Here is a vintage Roots just find at thrift shop today.

So I posted a quick blurry photo on the fly two weeks ago, so here again is my quirky cheap thrift find. I haven’t run across this dimension clutch before. Approx 11” by 5” by 2”.

This was the thrift shop where I found a white NYC Dinky last year. For $7.99 plus tax, I had to pick this bag up on principle
Document Case #9560 is close. Although the height measurement doesn't match yours, the proportions look right.

Has anybody seen one of these in person? I can’t tell what the color is. Is it more yellow or is it more beige/tan?

Some of the Madison Italian Coach bags came in light yellow (butter) and mustard yellow (citron) colors, but I don't think that the gramercy top handle bag came in yellow - but it did come in a Wheat (tan) color.

It also came in a very light powder blue/green color. My guess is that the Etsy bag is wheat but it might have come in yellow, I don't know. I have one in Oxblood and I have never seen any documentation showing that the bag was produced in that color - but I know that it was because I've got one!

Ah gotcha! I couldn’t tell whether this one was wheat or not because it does seem to have a more yellowish tinge overall in the photos but lighting can do that. I wish this one wasn’t missing the strap, and didn’t have that mark in the front!

Light colors are difficult to rehab. I rehabbed an Italian Madison Copley bag in butter and it wasn't a great success.
