I have the small satchel 7003 (kind of shaped like a speedy). I'm surprised at how much I love it. Mine didn't come with a strap either and I find that I like carrying it without. It seems so ladylike.

I was surprised too, and I also agree that similarly to yours, I think because it seems so ladylike! I’m going to probably spend a significant portion of my life hunting down these bags now... haha.

ETA: Why are there so many bags missing straps anyway? Where did they all go? Is it the same place where all my socks seem to disappear to?

I think when she made the purchase, she probably had this in mind the bag can make a nice dog cave (open wide) or daybed (lay flat).

I did not know I could fall in love with such an impractical bag for my lifestyle, that has dents and a missing strap... but here we are! My first Italian bag ready to be dunked. Wish me luck.

Hahaha! I agree! I got another trail bag in british tan. I like that it's smaller. I don't carry much so the size is perfect. Obsessed that these bags are so lightweight.
