I like this but my OCD is itching, if I had the ability to do this I might have gone two possibly tree stitches further on the outside in both directions.
Hey we all have our own preferences. I would probably to go all the way to the turn lock and have the whipstitch around the turnlock as well. So that's for me to do when I get time. Which is like.. never. Unless I make myself and give it priority over my chores.

I can see about the sides
First trial! I'm debating how much I like it above the lock or if I should tweak it.
However I'm super type A and trying all these new techniques...in turn frustrating and surprising myself.
Also educating so i know for future projects what is liked and not liked. Thanks for the input!

That's kind of my thought too..
But again, I'm teaching myself by doing. I get an hour here or there I like to play -usually late at night. That will change next month when I'm training a new stylist!

I think you're doing great just keep it up and you'll figure it out a finished look eventually. I have one bag that I couldn't rehab well so I had to use Wood-n-stuff on it to even out the look. That's my Guinea pig. I bought a hole puncher so my goal is to give it a perforated polka dot look.

The Station bag used to be my favorite style but then I got a Court and now that one is my favorite style. (Until I get a Rambler's Legacy, then who knows.....). I feel I can fit more in my Court bags and my stuff distributes more evenly so I don't have to dig for things. The Station bag is tall and skinny so it's good for lunch date type days but probably not a daily carry, in my opinion. I didn't like that I had to remove my wallet and wristlet just to reach my keys at the bottom of the bag. I don't have that problem with my Court bags. Here are some reference pics for you with my BT Court and red Station:

I never realized the station bag was that small!

What?!? Under $20! Why would anyone hit you with a purse for it! I wouldn't! Congrats on the great score! :yahoo:
:giggle: Along with the two purses that are arriving this week, my total vintage Coach purse count is in the 40s now! (And that number doesn't include my non-vintage Coach, Dooney & Bourkes, and other purses I've collected over the years.) I should probably try to sell the ones I haven't used more than twice.....

They are smaller! Mine measures 9L x 2W x 9H. Too tall and skinny for me. My stuff collects at the bottom and my wallet will only fit vertically and I have to remove all the bigger stuff in order to reach the smaller stuff that falls to the bottom. Not my favorite bag for every day carry but it's perfect for when I don't need to carry as much stuff. I usually bring my station to the movies because it's so slender that it fits right beside me in the seat.
