Well, I can cross this one off my HG list. British Tan Court made in the USA in 1995. I haven't dunked her, just Leather CPR and Blackrocks. And she can share straps with my Willis!
Twins! I love my BT Court! So much so that I ended up buying a green one and a black one to keep her company. Mine was in such nice condition when I bought her I am afraid to use her too much. I know, it's silly!

Hello...Im new on this thread...hope Im welcome. Didnt think this was the right thing to put in the Rescue and Rehab thread but thought you might like a little laugh.
Somehow I wont be buying this...not at that shipping cost...its Ridiculous!! And its coming from the States.20191023_201811.jpg

So, I think my purchase of an Olive Pocket purse has fallen through.:crybaby:
NO word from the seller, and no shipment other than "a label was printed. I reached out to them, but to no avail. Once the sale is officially cancelled, I'm debating another pocket purse in green (yes, i LOVE this style) or branching out and trying a trail bag (the bitty baby train case) in green.
What are the pros and cons my vintage Coachie addicts have to the trail bag?
oh....also eyeballing a cheap Janice {Someone stop meeeeeee....)

I'm like that too lol
I had a black China made one first and I love it when I want a smaller bag. The leather on this one is much nicer though. Lucky for me she already has some patina so I don't have to stress too much.

Wow! Did the seller list it as a 5 lb weight or something? That's insane!

The trail bag is adorable. It is small but so is the pocket purse.

This is all I got: just one zippered pocket. I don't think dunking is necessary but it never hurts.

Sorry for the really late reply.
No probs. I must have been thinking of another bag. I pulled mine out and it has the one big pocket too. When the catalog said “organizer pocket” I guess I was expecting the section style for pens, etc. It dawned on me, this could be the organizer pocket, as in organize your stuff here instead of letting it roll around on the bottom
I haven’t dunked mine yet either. It came to me in fabulous shape.
Eta, okay, I found a catalog pic. The description includes a hanging zipper pocket, and also says organizational panel with open pocket, card pocket and three pen holders.

I just watched a yellow Regina sell on Goodwill for way more than I was willing to pay. I was going to bid but then it went WHOOSH up over $100. Such a shame, I would have loved it...Hopefully someone on here got it?

I put that on my watch list to so I could see how much it would go for. I figured most of the forum here wanted to pulled the trigger on that!

Is that from the Summer 1997 catalog? That's where it's shown as "new" with that description. But the Fall 1997 catalog doesn't mention any organizer pocket. So apparently Coach made a change in the design.

I finally figured out why I don't like the new Willis bags. It's because they look like the fake ones! Check this fake one out.. looks just like the new Willis.

I totally agree! The leather tab part is too long compared to the vintage version. Wouldn't it be hilarious if they accidentally based a new design on counterfeit bags?

Oh that’s really good to know. What bothers me about some of the top handle bags I have is definitely how it feels like the turn lock has a lot of structural (?) responsibility... like on the Regina or casino, and to a lesser extent the station and winnie. (Although the winnie and casino are so small I suppose it’s not really an issue, and I mostly shoulder carry the station anyway.)

I suspect that the basic bag might become a daily carry for me. Everything about it is just perfect for my needs (it fits my iPad mini for when I want to carry it around ;)). This is making me rethink the red pocket purse on my list, maybe that needs to become a red basic bag! Lol

Speaking of red bags my red Costa Rican station arrived! She is in fantastic condition and the leather is perfectly smooshy! (I got really lucky here since the bag seems unused. It is so pretty but the bag itself and the strap edge seem quite new.. my US green station came in similar condition but not smooshy!) I now GET the obsession with red bags - It is such a gorgeous colour!! There were a few scratches on her but I rubbed some cpr on her and now I don’t notice them anymore!

Yes...my Regina turnlock can be tricky to open or close depending on what's in the bag. I can't usually open the bag while I'm wearing it I have to put it down. I think bags with a dowel and rings that go through the top help fix this issue because my 2013 new Willis doesn't have the same problem.

I also got this bag from Target that doesn't close when it's full because of the top handle and weak magnetic closure design :/

I'm using the non-adjustable strap from my 1995 Court Bag with my BT Willis today and it's actually kind of perfect. I find the strap a little short for my liking for cross body with the Court but I love it on the Willis. I guess it makes a difference that the strap attaches to the top of the Willis.
