I don't think you would like the Drake. It is very narrow, really can only be used as a brief, not as a purse.

Hello! For those of you who own the station and the Willis bags, could you let me know if the thickness of the strap is different? I.e. would it look funny if I were to use a Willis strap on a station bag?

The reason I’m asking is that I am looking at getting an adjustable strap for my new to me pocket purse. The one that came with it is not adjustable, and while it goes great with my Regina , I think I want a longer strap for the pocket purse. If someone could advise that would be great, thanks a lot!

Also, I absolutely cannot stop thinking about a red station bag I saw on eBay.... sigh, so much for my self imposed ban.. lol.

The station bag has a 1/2 inch wide strap and the Willis has a 3/4 inch wide strap. I don't think a Willis strap would look odd on a station bag or a pocket purse.

I'm rehabbing a red station bag now. It looks so pretty when it is wet.

It depends on what station bag you have. The earlier ones with just the numbers for serial have thinner strap than the ones made after 94. I don’t own a Willis prior to 94 so I don’t know if that is true for Willises as well. Both the Willis and Station bag after 94 have similar thickness, so no, it won’t look funny to switch them at all.

Thanks for the advice, whateve and Yrelle! My station bag is earlier than 94 I believe. From looking at online listings I had never noticed the difference between the two types of station bag straps. Thanks for pointing that out!.
I just measured the strap of my station bag and it is exactly 1/2 inch wide as whateve said!

I kind of agree, it looks like it would fit my laptop which would be nice but I don’t think it would sit up on my desk at work. That’s how I like my bags so I can admire them all day :) If one threw itself at me for the right price maybe then!
