Speaking of which, I'm personally kind of creeped out about their prices for the restored pieces.
They're so far above fair market value for these items on the second-hand market.
Feels like, greedy and weird to me, but that's just me.

Makes me wonder what quantity they had available, and if customers are actually buying these.

And wonder if eBay sellers will try to charge the same prices (and will be surprised that no one purchases from them).

Those prices have come down, but most of them are “sold out”.

Where did you find the highlights, @valv54 ?

What I meant to ask, before auto suggest took over with hang, was how many Willises did Coach produce, meaning back in the 90s!!
LMAO. I am still wrapping my head around someone paying $600 for a used Willis. I’d be happy to sell them a distressed black Legacy Rambler for $25!
I just bought a burgundy willis for $46 shipped, lolz!

I looked at the highlights and it looks like they are coming out with quite a few "archival bags" I saw a small side pack, and a regina! The others I couldn't really make out. Lots of color though!
I just watched the video on Instagram, and I could pick out a couple Derbys (one in purple!), an Abbie, Murphy, and Kimball.

Long odds, but... Some time ago a TPFer (I believe) sold me a bright red 1” strap from a failed rehab bag. I don’t remember which platform it was. If you are reading this and have some leather from that bag that you may be willing to share, could you please get in touch? The strap was the kind that needs buckles, like on a duffle or Courier, but narrower.

My vintage station bag in dark green arrived today! I am so in love with it and can’t believe I waited all this time to get a station bag!! (Thanks BeenBurned and Hyacinth for the authentication!)

I do have a question for those who own a station bag, this bag seems very lightly used (I think) - it is still very structured and totally holds its shape without stuffing. And this is a pre-1994 bag! I was just wondering if that is normal for the bag - especially since I’ve seen a lot of flattened ones on eBay! If it does soften with use, how can I store it to make sure it doesn’t lose its shape/prevent it from doing so? Thanks!!!

I store mine stuffed lightly in a shoe box so nothing squishes it.... I also remove the long strap and roll it up so it doesn't get weirdly shaped in the box ( sometimes I store the straps inside the bags.). Hope that helps. They can soften up with use but the squished looking bags are probably because of how they are stored.
Stations are such a pretty and functional bag. Enjoy yours!

Thank you so much! Shoe boxes are actually a great idea! I should stop throwing mine out... :) thanks!

Hi everyone,

Unrelated to previous posts but does anyone own a vintage sidepack 9979?

If yes could you post a either a mod shot photo or a photo of what fits inside? I tried finding this already in TPF but could only find authenticate this posts.

I've been contemplating getting a vintage one but I've never seen this style in person before. Specifically I want to know if it fits a small water bottle and how short the strap goes. Also I'm wondering how heavy the bag is. Thanks!

Hi! I love my side pack. Never thought about putting a water bottle in it but it totally fits. I added a photo of it closed wit the water bottle in it. The photo is with it at it’s longest and shortest setting, I’m 5’3” and soft around the middle ;). It’s a good sized bag with a little bit of weight, but I always wear it cross body and I don’t have any issues. I think you’ll love one.

I thought it would be fun to do a comparison between the new "reimagined" Coach Originals and an actual original model. I was very pleased to see they remade the cute little zip top pouch I have from 1993. So many if the vintage bags are perfect just the way they are, but there are a few that need a tweek or two to bring them up to current functionality. The changes they made to this one are spot on. Slightly bigger to fit a smart phone, pocket on inside, adjustable strap. Does anyone have any of the other models and can tell how they changed?
