Can someone share with me the difference between the vintage Pocket purse and the vintage Dinky? They look so similar and I actually own a vintage Pocket (red!) but the Dinky appeals to me and I can't tell if it's just because it reminds me so much of the Pocket purse? Am I insane?! They're different, right?!
Yes! The Dinky is small, will an attached strap. I can take a pic of mine later.
Yes, dinkys are small and only have 1 compartment, I think, and pocket purses are bigger with more pockets.
The Dinky has no slip pockets. I don’t see me using the Dinky much, but I am happy to have it in my small bag collection! I could not pass it up, in pristine condition, made in NYC for a steal.
When I have a little more time, I can do the Dinky, Shoulder Purse, Pocket Purse and Convertible Clutch line up!
Oh thanks for that! I've been considering a Convertible Clutch, and was curious on the size difference between that and the Pocket Purse.

My pleasure. I find one of the more frustrating aspects of loving vintage Coach is that it would be really nice to able to see them IRL to gauge there size. I have bought several bags impulsively that are not as user friendly as I thought. The next best thing is to see comp photos.
The good news is that I decided I did want to keep a small collection of bags I consciously know are for collecting’s sake more than regular use. There are so many cute and interesting styles.
At a future time I can show pics of the inside of the bags. Clockwise, top, Dinky, Shoulder Purse, Convertible Clutch, Pocket Bag.
