That's very sad. Don't they know you destroy the value of a vintage item if you do that?
It doesn't even look like a particularly good rework -- the cracking on the front is unfortunate. I was trying to see if it's just the reflection, but it looks very cracked in the middle near the left buckle and we all know there are plenty of 1987-vintage bags in much better shape after a good rehab effort. Eugh, Coach, I am disappoint.

How crazy would it be to wear these two together? They look like they’ve come out of the same batch of leather (which is impossible because one is pre-creed, so much older), the color is absolutely identical.

Wouldn't be crazy at all! I think I read it somewhere that Bonnie Cashin introduced the concept of layering handbags.

I would KILL for a Regina in that color. I didn't even realize they made them in that bright blue. I would also like red. I have one in seafoam, and it's one of my favorites. Lucky you! What a nice collection.
Thank you! She was a super lucky $8 rummage sale find, and quickly became a favorite. They are so ladylike, I bet seafoam looks amazing. I would love to find one in yellow.

What a wonderful rainbow collection! Especially that Regina....drooling :drool::hbeat::loveeyes:

I saw a few Reginas in mint and I almost bought one a few months back but they both were missing the original straps and seemed discolored and worn at the edges. I wonder if they were supposed to be the same color as your daypack?
Probably my daypack is pretty beat up. I love those pastels, but once they start getting a little worn it's hard to bring them back without a paint job, lol.

Honestly, she looks a little bit worn. I did a "rehab" and washed her, so she is clean, but the color is a bit faded, especially at the corners. The color looks a little bit like bleached blue jeans from the 80's, a very pale blue rather than green.

So cute! Seafoam and all the pastels are tough colors to keep pristine. It's like a white bag.
