These bags are workhorses. They are such a great size. I had one that was so abused the leather was almost petrified.
Me too! My tabac one was cleaned with something harsh that dried it out and it will not recover. My saddle tan one was super dry and abused when I got it but she cleaned up great. Amazing for such an old purse!
ETA: I have you to thank for helping me discover this great style bag that is so perfect!

Hello everyone,

This thread is for those who love vintage Coach handbags. Photos and chat are welcome. We can all learn from each other and have fun too!
Hello
I could really use some advice and opinions. I recently was very fortunate to inherit a Coach Leatherware Bonnie Cashin purse in it's original box with tissue paper. With the help of several Authenticators on Purse Forum and a LOA from Authentication First I'm ready to sell my purse. I just don't know what it's worth or how to sell it. I"m not a purse collector and I feel someone who is might want this purse in their collection. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

A bag like this could be worth a lot to a collector, but there aren't that many collectors so you might have to wait a long while to get that.

Here are what vintage bags described as Bonnie Cashins have sold for recently on ebay: https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_fr...cashin&_sacat=0&rt=nc&LH_Sold=1&LH_Complete=1
Most of those aren't true Bonnie Cashins.
If it were mine, and I was sure I wanted to part with it, I would probably list it at $500 or best offer. You can always lower the price later. You could also list it on Etsy, which might attract more vintage buyers. You might have to wait a year for it to sell unless you are really willing to deal. Or you could find a consignor or auction house.

Thank you!

I took my bag into a Coach store and they put the tearoses on the original bag strap. Since it was a buckle on strap, I couldn't use one of the straps they sell. It is more expensive to customize than to buy the straps on sale.
If you don't mind me asking, about how much does Coach charge for this? I would really love to get a few tea roses put on my like-new Manor bag.

Small NYC flap bag, the real name escapes me, in gray!
Sweet!

Not surprising that the name escapes, it was a slippery one. Assuming the dimensions are 8" x 7" x 4" OR 8" x 6" x 3" it's style #9530. In 1983 it was a Small Shoulder Bag:

In 1986 the name becomes Shoulder Bag with Turnlock (pictured in Grey):

Oh there she is! Thank you @Catbird9 . You wouldn't happen to have any info on the large shoulder bag with turnlock. Its 9 x 11 x 4. It was authenticated but I can't seem to actually find a picture or anything on it
