How did you go this long without a black bag? I'm never looking for black but have ended up with a bunch! So been on a roll, found this saddle bag on etsy and couldn't get it out of my head, plus I dont have a black bag, soooooo, you know lol.
I dont know! Any time I've come across a black bag, it's always in a style that doesn't appeal to me, but this saddle bag...it spoke to me. Also I have bags in very close colors to black, like black coffee and navy. How did you go this long without a black bag? I'm never looking for black but have ended up with a bunch!

NA, but not pinging my radar
The strap wasn't made by Coach
Does that mean it's authentic, except for the strap?
I've always loved this style. Congratulations!
Nice find!!!
Ooh do you have a pic? I just love purple vintage Coach!!Also found d a purple station I'm reeeeally excited about.
No, the seller is on vacation, so I gotta wait until the 26th until she gets to ship and I'm dying here! Lol as soon as I get it though!Ooh do you have a pic? I just love purple vintage Coach!!
These are recent remakes. Coach didn't use turnlocks or buckles with logos like that until recently. Some of those hardware colors weren't available when these styles were made. A vintage duffle sac would have a black zipper. The city bag and musette have edge coating, which wasn't used back then. That hangtag on the satchel looks so weird with the word "leatherware." It is a copy of the originals but looks wrong in the pebbled leather. Here are the pebbled leather classics from the display at Coach headquarters. I tried to capture the texture, thus the close ups

My point exactly. There are a handful of vintage bags, but the rest are all like these. These are recent remakes. Coach didn't use turnlocks or buckles with logos like that until recently. ETA: this seems disingenuous to imply these are vintage bags.
If they wanted a colorful Rambler's legacy, they could have used mine.I would buy the pebbled rambler in a second if they used the 1941 leather! That color is beautiful it looks a little teal but I wonder if it’s denim.
