Hello all, I'm still searching for the perfect bag or tote. In a google search, this one popped up. Is it authentic? Does anyone know the name/style/etc?

--Unlined leather
--Prefer zipper closure, but definitely not just open, I have something like that I am trying to replace.
--Strap drop approx 10 inches (fits over shoulder but doesn't hang down too low)
--Bag depth 3-4 inches (wide enough for a water bottle)
--Bag width 14-16 inches (wide enough to be roomy, but not as big as a piece of luggage)
--Bag height 10-12 inches

The bag in the Etsy listing is authentic. It looks like a Large Tote #9780. It closes with a snap, not a zipper. Here's a catalog pic from Holiday 1987:
You might also look at the Light Tote #4085. It's about the same size and it has a zipper:
CORRECTION: Light Tote style number is 4065, not 4085 which belongs to the Travel Tote.
The Light Tote style 4065 is my absolute favorite large style tote to use on the regular. It's extremely roomy. The straps are long enough for comfortable shoulder use. The inside zip pocket holds quite a bit. plus it zips all the way across the top (a must for me in a large tote because i get irritated when they fall over and everything spills out.) I have a 94 British Tan one and I added a BT long strap to so i can throw it on crossbody if needed. This bag is extremely durable and I carry quite a bit of weight in it. I have another one in a purple/plum color that I recently purchased from ebay. This one is pre-94 and it's a bit more lightweight than my BT one. The leather is definitely a bit thinner. I should post pictures of this one in the authenticate thread just for the fact that i'm trying to decide if at some point it was dyed that plum purple color. It has it's original one sided hang tag and it matches. The inside leather all matches but there is a certain amount of streaking to the color on the inside edge near the zipper.

So, here is my latest photo of my Classic Shoulder Bag. I've tried to figure out the color, but I'm not sure. Saddle? Can someone please help? It looks slightly darker in person but this is pretty accurate. I added a pic of the creed for sort of a date range idea.

I found another one for you to consider, 4019 Carry-All Tote. What I'd probably like about this one, compared to the Light Tote, is the welted bottom. (I've never owned either one.)

I like that one, too. The problem I am running into now is that there are not very many of these around. I did find a brown light tote I'm eyeing on eBay, I may give that a go...
