I've been going to thrift stores here (NY state) on a regular basis, for almost 2 years, and find Coach all the time, but rarely find vintage. Only 4 so far, vs more than 100 from 2000-now (I didn't buy all of them, only about half, lol).

I found another one today:yahoo: A 1997 nubuck #4396 Sonoma.

I understand, life gets busy
Thank you! The Dinky is actually white. It was in amazing condition to begin with, which is why I rescued it from a thrift shop. After dunking ( twenty minutes in warm water with a little Lexol cleaner and gentle toothbrush scrub, 20 minutes warm water rinse with a little vinegar) then Leather CPR, and Blackrock, sparingly.
The Black Pocket purse got roughly the same treatment, but it also got a little Saphir brand dye/recolorant.
I think the lighting added to the glow a little.
I have found light colors can be tricky to rehab, like red!

Curious about something. We were talking about your white Dinky.
I have a white Canteen. It has little, hairline cracks in the finish along the strap edges.
May I ask if your Dinky has the same thing?
Wondering if this is something that just happens to white bags over time even if they're in excellent condition, or not.

Good morning! I'm looking for a largish sac I can toss crossbody to wear while shopping/thrifting (I am 5'2" if that makes a difference). I love the idea of the Duffle 9805, but I think it's just too big.
Can anyone tell me the name of this bag? I've done every feature search I could think of but no dice:

Bonus points if you have a catalog photo!

And, how does it compare, size-wise and ability to wear crossbody, as Helen's Legacy 9953?

Thanks all!

Thanks all!
It's a Lightweights Bucket Bag (#4075; 1989 - 1993), similar to Soho Bleeker Bag (#4153; 1994 on) :

Strap length on the Bucket Bag is listed as 41", on the Bleeker 47", and on the Helen's, 50".

Thank you! This is super helpful. And especially thank you for the catalog photo. I love those because they tell all the colors the bag comes in.
I'm leaning towards a Helen's Legacy because of the strap length.

Just a note, the Bucket Bag came in 2 sizes. So you can be aware if you buy online, you are getting the size you want. I could be wrong; I am getting a vibe that the top pic you posted is for the small and the lower for the regular, I guess we would call it.
It surprises me how many vintage styles were made in more that one size.
