I understand, life gets busy
Thank you! The Dinky is actually white. It was in amazing condition to begin with, which is why I rescued it from a thrift shop. After dunking ( twenty minutes in warm water with a little Lexol cleaner and gentle toothbrush scrub, 20 minutes warm water rinse with a little vinegar) then Leather CPR, and Blackrock, sparingly.
The Black Pocket purse got roughly the same treatment, but it also got a little Saphir brand dye/recolorant.
I think the lighting added to the glow a little.
I have found light colors can be tricky to rehab, like red!

Thank you so much for letting me know! I really appreciate it. Ooo, Saphir dye, I'm going to look into that.

Funny you mention red; I was about to post in the rehab thread, asking for advice about how to select red bags. (I've never rehabbed a red bag, and I don't know what can be fixed. I've passed on a lot of red bags because of some issues that seem common.) I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Awww, I'm sorry you had a color disappointment. I don't have a Willis yet, but I know I want one with nickel hardware and I think navy would be a great color with all the jeans I wear, so maybe that's the color I should be looking for lol.

I received it a few days ago and I'm sure it's supposed to be navy blue but it's so dark that it's hard to tell! I actually really like it. I'm glad I made that mistake, I never would have bought it on purpose. And it does look great with denim! The day I received it I happened to be wearing blue jeans, a blue plaid shirt and blue sneakers and I immediately realized how good it looked with that outfit. (Though the outfit itself wasn't that great, ha ha!) If you find one, I say go for it. Mine needs to be rehabbed but I think it will look really nice when it's finished.

I'm rehabbing a camel Court right now. Not crazy about the color either. Wish it was British Tan lol
Still, it's coming along.
Oh yes, I agree. British tan is one of my favorite colors. It looks so nice when in perfect condition, when distressed, with patina, whatever. It's just a great color all around, no matter what. My crappy Manor in BT still looks ok even though I couldn't get all the stains out of it.
