Ever since I saw this bag, I have been in love. It was hard finding one that was in my price range. When I did, I missed the auction deadline. I asked the seller for a photo of the creed and if she was going to relist it. She sent the photo of the creed and told me she would relist. It took her awhile to relist but when she did, I snagged it, lol. It is a cream/ivory color with a gray undertone. I'm going to clean her up and condition her. Oh yeah, the cat in the background is Zoe. I couldn't move her because she was so happy in the sun.

It would help if I wrote which bag she is, lol. She is a Retro Lindy, from the 1991, 50th Anniversary Reto Collection per AT.

The one on the left is the solid black and the one on the right is supposed to be black and brown but I think it is a super dark navy. And here they are:

The Navy color in the Sheridans is clearly a dark blue when you see it in person, I have several in that color. There's no way it could be mistaken for black in natural light. The one in your photo looks like black, which can fade a bit from use and sun to take on a bit of a dark blue tinge. But it's still black, not navy. Navy would look more like this:

Thank you for the link, I could definitely see the difference between them. You guys are so awesome with everything you know and the willingness to share it with us :) I wonder after I condition it if some of the color will come back. We shall see, lol.

I was going to say the same thing that Hyacinth said, but she was quicker. That's a black bag. I am glad others are joining my Monticello team! [emoji6] [emoji6]
