That's cool! I have never seen that before. This oldie arrived today! Can anyone tell me more about it? I believe it’s called a Krazy Klutch and is from the 1960s — is that correct?

I don’t. I often do a search in this forum of a seller’s name. Have you searched the seller’s User name in this forum? That can be a good start. Did you contact them to ask what products they used to restore it? A transparent seller won’t hesitate to asnswer questions.Does anyone have experience with this ebay seller? I would love a vintage grey Court with gold hardware, but this looks like it was spray-painted with house paint. I realize they say it is "restored". Is it just the lighting?

Good advice, thanks. I just did a search here, but nothing. I was just wondering what you experts thought about the condition. The strap edges (and all "raw" edges) look heavily coated and no longer raw. It is much more blue than the other grey bags I've seen. They also say they used "polish", but it looks so heavy. But as you say, it may just be the light.I don’t. I often do a search in this forum of a seller’s name. Have you searched the seller’s User name in this forum? That can be a good start. ETA, I saw in the description they said it was bathed and conditioned. Sounds like they are a rehabber. I just checked out the listing. I personally don’t see any red flags with the color, although I have not owned a grey bag, so I would say the lighting may reflect light, giving it the effect you see.
Let’s see what others say.

Gosh, I didn't even see that in photo #6! Thank you! Yes, too much product for me. I don't mind a little on the corners and such to cover wear, but that is a lot to create such a heavy line!Zoom in on picture #6 and notice how the edge of the color can be seen on the left side next to the piping.
We went to our local flea market today. Right after I said they sell counterfeits here, I saw a bunch of authentic bags. There was nothing I wanted. The only fake I saw was a station bag, but I didn't open it up to see if there was actually a creed so it might have just been inspired.I went to my local flea market yesterday to see if my pony was ready for pick up. There were several decent vintage bags but as many fakes. There was a guy who had a table with about 7 blacks bags only, all fakes. I mean, as in, you could tell just by looking at them, not lying. So if fakes don’t end up on Posh, apparently they go to this guy, ugh.
Side note, No, my pony was not there [yet !] but I found a lovely yellow 2010 tote, so that will tide me over until I find something vintage in a HG late 90s color
Happy little family. My black and nickel Willis in back, and the two I picked up today for a whopping $12 each. The Station was made in March of '99 and has an outlet mark, and the Murphy in '96. Both confirmed by Hyacinth. (Thank you, Hyacinth!) (The Willis isn't vintage yet, as she was made in 2003.)

I have a lot of rehab to do...
These two are a little weathered, but I honestly think they'll do great with a dunk and some conditioning. But I guess it's good for me that I love vintage with a little age showing.Happy rehabbing! I just rehabbed a red Murphy and it came up so nice! But it was already in great shape.

ETA, to left, behind , Berkeley Flap, # 9014, left, Patricia’s Legacy, right, Ranch Bag.

I do have a little boxy mahogany bag somewhere from either 96 or 97, that does not have the burgundy undertones, so beware. I seem to notice us talking about the burgundy undertones from bags in the ‘88-ish to ‘93-ish period. Others are encouraged to confirm or correct this.Lovely bags!! I definitely see the taupe vs. mahogany difference. I have to say that mahogany is my favorite, I really like the burgundy undertones.
