This is very helpful comparing these two bags, because the Station does work really well for me (even though I normally do not go with tall bags and normally prefer east-west styles). And so I was concerned the Court might be a little too big. I have seen some of the mod pics and in some of the pics it looks large for me, and in others it doesn't.

All of my main items fit in the large compartment of the Station, and then I put my keys and pen/chapstick in the front pocket. Normally I would have expected the Station to be too narrow, but I think because these bags are so soft it fits a little more than expected. So since my items fit in the Station, and the Court is quite a bit deeper, that might answer my question.... and save me some money.

My other concern with the Court is that in some mod pics it looks like the bottom of the bag doesn't seem structured enough to stay flat--in some of the pics there is somewhat of a bulge at the bottom of the bag. Maybe that is more about the condition of the bag, though?
The Court bag is quite structured IMO. Perhaps those you are seeing have been overstuffed? I find it just the right size for my stuff, but that said I have 4 of them and haven't used them for ages because I prefer to have more room in case I feel like throwing in extra stuff. I go for bigger things like the vintage ramblers, Willis, bucket bags.. stuff like that. I keep thinking I should sell some of my Court bags but I'm not there yet. To me they are a little preppy and dressed up while many of my other bags are more for jeans days.. so I keep them for that odd occasion when I want something a little more special. I know I have a light colored one and a BT one I haven't ever used but I can't talk myself into parting with.

I dare you to try one....:P

The Station bag used to be my favorite style but then I got a Court and now that one is my favorite style. (Until I get a Rambler's Legacy, then who knows.....). I feel I can fit more in my Court bags and my stuff distributes more evenly so I don't have to dig for things. The Station bag is tall and skinny so it's good for lunch date type days but probably not a daily carry, in my opinion. I didn't like that I had to remove my wallet and wristlet just to reach my keys at the bottom of the bag. I don't have that problem with my Court bags. Here are some reference pics for you with my BT Court and red Station:

This is great! Anyone has pictures of Court next to Willis by any chance?

Did a tpf member get this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-Coach-...m43663.l10137&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true? I've been stalking stuff since around the beginning of the month. I started looking a bag (was debating between 3-4 styles) and somehow in searching, I ending bookmarking 50+ things. Eventually I moved from satchels to crossbody bags to wallets and other small leather goods. This was one I bookmarked because I instantly recognized the pattern as the Madison made in Italy line. This has me curious. Are vintage wallets and other small leather goods really nice (just like their bag counterparts)? I don't own a leather cosmetic bag and was thinking maybe of purchasing something like that before I buy a purse. I also wouldn't mind a wallet. I just wasn't sure if the wear on these items would not age well (like hard to rehab than purses) and so if the quality in the new stuff was better.

I am trying to stay away from this one for a while, until I have more room on my bag shelf, lol, but can I have some opinions on the Court bag? I can't really tell what to compare it to in regard to size--is there a current bag that someone can say it is close to? I have looked at images online and am still not quite sure.

Just wondering in general who likes it, why? Who doesn't? why? Etc...thank you!
The Court bag is actually very similar to the LV Pochette Metis. There are a couple of You Tube videos comparing them. I hope it helps.

I have several wallets from the same Madison line and they're still like new although I've only used them a few times and were in very good condition when I bought them. Wallets are usually carried inside a bag and not subject to the same wear and tear that bags often are, especially in the corners. The only problem I sometimes find is some grunge in the coin pocket lining. Linings are probably the areas most likely to need cleaning or rehab. They get handled more than bags though and can show darkening from dirt or skin oils or wear marks where they get handled the most.

Classic wallets are less likely to have been faked too although there are some fakes out there, especially Korean-made "Sheridans", so have them authenticated.

I've had some gorgeous vintage wallets. One of the prettiest was a wallet from the Bridle collection, made in Italy. The bags I've seen from this collection tend to look beat up, but the leather on the wallet was absolutely beautiful. I think since it was a wallet, the leather was softer and more supple.

I've had a few Madison wallets and SLGs too, and they have been gorgeous. The red in Madison is especially gorgeous.

Thanks for sharing! Yes - I will have them authenticated here (edit to add - will have that done on correct AT thread). Some of them have less markings like what I see on the bags I'm stalking so I am grateful to the experts on here.

Thank! I think I've seen a few Bridle collection ones. I actually thought they were modern ones so that is good to know. So I think I will hunt for both short and long Bridle & Madison wallets. That red color is stunning and what had me bookmark it in the first place. And I don't know if I'm someone who will carry a red bag (at least yet), but it would be really nice if I found a Sonoma bag (with the dark lining) and had a nice red Madison wallet or slg bag that stood out. I've tended to use just black or dark brown wallets and I could see myself being a little more colorful with those & slg rather than the bag (also seen nice yellow, orange, and forest green things as well). Have you seen these typically under $100 or should I more realistically be looking to spend more (especially if I'm lucky and see NWT or NWOT)?

Were any Court bags made in USA or did it come too late? I ask because I saw the made in China on some of the creeds on listings...

Yes, there are Court bags made in the USA. Here is a ebay link that was shared recently with some creed guides. https://www.ebay.com/gds/Guide-to-Vintage-Coach-Hang-tags-and-Creeds-/10000000177697673/g.html? The bags that are on my radar tend to either have the creeds listed as they are in the 1970s - 1993 or the 1994 - 2000s (based on this guide).

I'm definitely not an expert (and these are not authenticated but I was trying to find listings to help), but I found an ebay listing for a Spectator Court (which I'm not sure if it is the same dimensions of the Court recently pictured here) and they have a catalog picture included that mentions a 1989 preview. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-CO...431833?hash=item2ce4b20099:g:n5QAAOSw7F9cWSCU . Here is a made in USA with the 1994 creed. https://www.ebay.com/itm/COACH-Vint...874894?hash=item1a7919aa8e:g:8xYAAOSwUR9cnZpd And yes, I have seen the Court made in other countries. I'm not an authenticator, but I've actually seen some of these styles or similar ones with creeds that indicate made in Mexico, Costa Rica, Turkey, Hungary, and Italy. Here is an example of one from Costa Rica https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-Vinta...043746?hash=item1ef6b481e2:g:RycAAOSwevtciaGp

I actually like the look of the Regina, Court, and Manor bags myself. Often I see many Court's listed as vintage Coach Willis or just vintage Coach messenger or vintage Coach flap bag. Do you have a color in mind? I'm curious if the leather/feel is different depending on the year and country? For example, not sure if specific to Court, but I think I've read that some find the Costa Rica leather really nice. I would run by whatever bag you are interested in on the AT thread before you even consider bidding or anything (just to be safe you are getting an authentic bag).

It depends on condition and color and the seller. I believe most are typically under $100, but maybe not NWT or NWOT. However, the lower the price the more likely the seller won't identify it correctly in the title of the listing, so you'll have to search through generic listings to find them.
