Recently acquired this cute little Musette. Unfortunate that the seller did not disclose the stains/depressions on the back of the bag. Even sadder that I accepted the order by forgetting to rate the seller within three days. Oh well - I guess I’ll just have to keep it for myself! ;)

This bag looks great on you! Honestly, I think the size is perfect! Will you be rehabbing it? It might be an important, although a very scary undertaking at first [emoji4]

It looks great on you. Is there any odor? Those spots look like they could be mold.

That's the spirit. Those bags are quite desirable, so I am sure, and you probably know this since you sell quite a bit, that if you disclose the spots you would probably still recoup your buying price.
I don't sell yet, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to keep from my hodgepodge collection.

I feared that may have been what they were. I've already dunked the bag, dried it, and conditioned it so I fear those spots are permanent. I'm surprised, however, that I really like the size! Only a little bigger than my Rambler but fits so much more! For the price, I think I'm just going to use it for a while!

Applying a product that darkens the leather a bit, like Blackrocks, might help to disguise those spots somewhat. Beautiful bag!

I'm doing some research on Bonnie Cashin and her love of double-sided bags. Does anyone have information or catalog pages for the "Double Header" or "Haversack" styles?

There appears to be a double-header bag in her right hand in this drawing in the UCLA online digital archives for Bonnie Cashin. These bags were created for her "Cashin Carry" collection for Coach around circa 1967-1972.
