The pics are of horrible quality. You can tell the seller isn't interested in providing quality photos. I hate to ask for better. Lol. Too bad it's not green. I think I recall a green one going for a lot in auction. I think closer to $200 or more IIRC. [emoji848]
Last year someone posted a pic of a slim satchel they picked up at a yard sale for a quarter.
For those of you with a Bancroft briefcase, do you use it as briefcase or a daily bag? Is it comfortable and how much does it hold? Does it tip open and feel like the contents will spill?
I believe it is a School Bag. I really could, at this price, even with pen marks under the flap and what might be a water stain. But I spent my allowance last week lol. Other opinions are welcome.

Thanks @Catbird9. I was hoping it was BT. I have a few bags in Putty and I like the color, but not in love with it. Is the School bag rare?
Yes, it's one of the rarer styles. If the one in the listing were British tan I would consider it, but even so, the ink marks would bother me.
In two years it’s the first listing I have come across in this condition, for this price.
I use it like a tote, or really big bag for work, as opposed to a brief case/lap top bag. I use it for work when I want to take more than my usual medium to large bag will hold. I usually take a small wallet, tech pouch, odds n ends pouch, phone, keys. But there will be the day I want to throw in my tablet, iPad Air, large hair brush, makeup bag, manilla folder with misc paperwork, mp3 player, ear buds, Lara bars (in the winter, extra pair of socks) . . . you get the idea.
It will not hold a laptop. It may hold the larger iPad. It will just fit a standard manilla folder. I like to organize my pouches on end. It can hold alot, but it is no Beekman brief. The zipper is set 6 " above the base (just whipped out a ruler) and I have not lost anything yet and I can count on my key ring to sink to the bottom. I keep my phone in tne inside pouch, which is my SOP for bags with no outter slip pocket.
It has rigid handle like the Rogue so I hand carry or use the shoulder strap only. I use it when I go to my office or another location where I know I can just park it for the day. If I need to stop in a market or meet someone after work, I just take my wallet znd keys in with me. I can post a pic tomorrow.
I am crazy about mine lol. I got a rock bottom deal (and it was listed as a Bancroft so I was sure I would be outbid!) on it in very good condition. The leather is amazing. But mine has no inside organizer pocket, just a zipper pocket. I would get another if lightening would strike twice for a low starting bid and no other bidders!
