Was really happy to find this Janice Legacy yesterday for 30 bucks while strolling around an antique mall with DH yesterday. In really nice condition, too. No need to dunk. Couple applications of Leather CPR and a little bit of Blackrock and she’s super soft and supple.
Was afraid she would be too small for me, but she holds more than I thought...covers all of my key daily needs. She’s just shy of vintage...she turns 20 this October. [emoji846]

I found one of these too! In black at the salvation army for $5. My bag definitely needed some tlc but yes she does hold alot.

I really like the look of this bag and have watching some on eBay for months now. I haven't pulled the trigger yet because I'm not sure about the opening. How do you both feel about it? Does it open wide enough to be able to get things in and out of it easily? TIA

I think so, my bag of choice was a bleeker duffle for the longest time, and I thought this little thing is never gunna hold all my crap, but she has lots of pockets and keeps everything organized and at hand instead of falling into the abyss of my duffel.

So today, I was browsing the internet looking at different vintage bags and how different people go about rehabbing them, when I came across this one ladies blog. She had rehabbed a willis and had mentioned that the hangtag was missing. What she said she did was went to the coach website, to the"contact us" part of the page, emailed them, and they sent her replacement tags free of charge!!!! They didn't have the British tan that she needed but they sent a brass coach tag instead. I think they try to send what you need, but if they don't have it, they send one that will compliment your bag. So I tried it. I was a little skeptical, since this was from probably from 2010 or so.(figured I had nothing to lose), but sure enough! I got an email from coach this afternoon and they will be sending me replacement tags in 1-2 weeks absolutely FREE! I just wanted to share this bit of info in case any of you ladies were in the same predicament as me. I will share pics when they arrive!!:') **sorry about the long post

Thx, and not to worry, I've posted way longer. I haven't been booted off the site. Yet.
Edited to add, I have asked at factory and retail stores. While they don't have vintage, I've been given a few older black and tan ones.

I've done this a few times. You are limited to a certain number per year - I can't remember if it is 2 or 4. You can also ask at Coach stores. I've gotten great help at outlets. They brought out a large box full of the hangtags and let me pick out what I wanted.

Does anyone else get extremely irritated when someone is selling a vintage coach and they're like, "vintage from the 70's, or 80's!!"when they're clearly from like, the 90's..I guess they think nobody will know. idk why that bothers me!!
It bothers me more to see not-even-close to being vintage described as "vintage."

Like this from 2008.

It used to bother me, but I see it so often (along with countless incorrect "Bonnie Cashin" claims) that I've gotten used to it.

Oh, I know! Like the stuff with the c's all over it. I cant believe someone would call something from January of this year vintage!! What made me think of it is there's a little vintage backpack on poshmark right now, and the woman claims it's been stored since the 80's, but the creed stamp says 1995. Lol
