I just bought another bag last night. I think I need to disconnect my internet. And start hanging out on the Involuntary Ban thread:whut:
*goes off to look for storage rental next to @houseof999 *

[emoji23] plastic storage bins are your friend, esp. the ones that slide under the bed so DH doesn't know they're there!
ETA: Age is just a number, ladies! I was over 40 when I learned how to swim and did my first triathlon. Just need the whippersnappers to explain the acronyms to me [emoji39]

Yikes - reading/lurking this thread late at night is dangerous - I almost just bought that bag! I love that style, but they just don't work for me in practice. Love the bucket bags though....such a simple classic bag.

**Since it's late - misc associated story about a coach bucket bag: One of my first coach sightings in the wild was a black large size bucket/duffle bag that my college painting professor had. She was the epitome of cool, lived in Manhattan, and was an actual(!) artist. One day in the middle of class, she asked me to pass her bag to her so she could get something - and man that thing weighed a ton. Put me off ever carrying one of that style; beautiful bag though. It was a made in NY beauty, as this was 1988 (I am old) And I am pretty sure that was when and where I started eyeing coach bags.

Sorry to intrude  Nite

GoStanford wanted me to post a pic of my vintage Coach bags here. I already did in a thread in the Handbags & Purses forum where it was requested. I only have three. Some of y'all may remember me back when I posted in here often when I was an active buyer, which I no longer am ... so hi to you guys! My collection is complete. I also have a 2012 Coach, 2005 Chanel and 2006 LV.

Anyhoo, L to R: Madison satchel made in NYC, tomato red Sonoma satchel and black Madison Copley.

Love these VINTAGE COACH of yours.

Would love to know who scored this bag a few weeks ago. What a steal!!! I'm so jealous it hurts. I've been looking for this style for years and have now missed out on two of them (the other being a navy colored on last year). I guess I'll have to wait and hope that another one appears one day....

I saw this post of yours in one of my saved TPF Threads RL Bernstein, and if you're still looking for one of those, I'll keep a look out for you.

I've been real busy with 'Life', and sadly not enough time for TPF late 2016 to the first 1/2 of 2017 (many, many major changes happened in that period of time for my family & I), but I'm gonna do my best to stay in better touch with everyone - both on TPF & off actually.

Also, hope you're doing well and all...and I see that you're keeping BONNIE CASHIN very much 'alive' here on TPF and in your life offline - BRAVO (!) my friend. Late last year I did manage to do a few major (so I'd like to think at least......) events/things IRL/offline - in helping (just doing my part) preserve Bonnie Cashin's Legacy for future generations...then 'Life' got all hectic again - from late October 2016 into 2017, into this Summer, and I'm so hoping all is settled as nicely & neatly as possible by the end of Summer, and by Fall 2017, one way or another I'm gonna systematically make good time for all my Vintage Coach & Coach-related artifacts that I've collected over many years. Just a little FYI if I may in case I hadn't had the chance to share before : I've got some classic well-made more Modern Coach - which I adore too - and I would say that my Collection spans-the-decades since Coach's inception pretty well...but there's a few of the lovely ladies here on TPF who collect Vintage Coach (including You) and those Collections are absolutely BREATHTAKING!

Before I forget, I also saw some other posts of yours about the Coach (some which were EXACTLY what I was thinking about some parts of Coach Inc.'s History) - and I will share those thoughts with you at my soonest/the next time I get back on TPF which I'm thinking should be pretty soon - and I'm very much looking forward to doing that.

I totally agree. For a few seconds, I was tempted too but, just like you, they don't work for me in real life. But I love the looks of the bucket bags.

Welcome back. And thank you for offering to keep an eye out for items that I may find interesting. As it is, I've settled in focusing on the early period (1963-1971) and have compiled a wish list of eight to ten styles that I'd like to add to complete my holdings. So now patience is the byword.
