Does this look like it has a replacement strap on this? It looks weird to me.
Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.com/itm/201904015213
It's not the usual strap. I've gotten a classic pouch from the same era with the same strap. It might have been an option at the time of purchase. By the way, it isn't from the 60s as the seller claims, but I think you knew that.

Interesting. I hadn't seen this happen before I think.
I'll just add, oh yes, happens far too often. I've regularly seen sellers increase their prices after either a mention on any of the related tPF threads or in the case of PM, when more than a couple of viewers tag an item with a "like." Ridiculous practice if you ask me and I tend to view it quite negatively in terms of character. But don't let me rant any further. I may launch into my thoughts on the variable pricing one often sees when that a given item is simultaneously listed on multiple marketplaces. Yes, the commission structures are different, but does anyone think that buyers care about anything but out-of-pocket cost to them? Candidly, I don't think there are any buyers out their who really give a hoot about what a seller nets from any given transaction. After all, why should they? Just my opinion.

I had one bag I was waiting to see it relisted and I think after several weeks I finally asked the seller if it was going to be listed for sale. Can't remember if the seller replied but it was relisted at twice the price. Yeah no. I was interested when it was the price was in my targeted budget. Not anymore. I stopped tracking the bag. I think it was a two tone lightweights drawstring bag.

Any idea of a name or collection? The leather was dry and sucked up a healthy layer of Blackrocks - was originally navy (see creed photo).
Looks like it could be a Travel Tote, #4085. Does it measure about 17" x 15" x 5"? Here's a catalog pic from 1989:
